need help with vigilante missions

I need help to complete the vigilante missions in gta san andreas.

The best I've done is level 3.

Does anyone have any tips for me to help me complete it.

I don't want to use cheats.

your better off using a police bike so you can drive and shoot from behinf them try to hit the petrol tanks on the cars

thanks for the replys, I have tried it on the bike but for some reason I can't shoot while riding the bike.

It might be because I am up to hitman level with the pistol

You need a Machine Pistol, Uzi etc to do a Drive-by from a car or on a bike.

I've read somewhere on the boards here (if I could remember where I'd post a link to the topic) about stealing a Rhino from Area69 and storing it at the garage at your airport. Then you'd just have to get rid of your wanted stars so you can go back and start the Vigilante mission like normal but with the rhino.

All in all, the rhino is the best vehicle for vigilante mission... if you can manage to steal it from Area 69... - FiJiAn 4 LiFe
