I'm having alot of trouble

Ok so i was modding into the game a new m4 that looks way better than the original, i extracted the two old files and replaced them, but now i have the new dff file and two new txd files. when i try to delete one, the other or both of the txd files they just end up coming back as soon as i close the program. I was gonna try doing the "rebuild archive thing" but i'm not sure what that does. if u cud help me taht wud be great. thanks

you must recompile the img archive after every edit.
