Mxyzptlk
Yes, just get in a passenger car instead of the locomotive. After you complete freight missions its free though.
Airborne
There is no ticket to buy. Just enter the passager car like jacking a vehicle.
«Phobos»
It's easier to steal the train thet pay for a train ticket or go by plane/helicopter or car to the destiny that you want.
Mxyzptlk
But riding as a passenger in a plane or train you can skip the cinematic of the trip, save a few minutes.

That way you lost money and it's more fun to go riding a helicopter/plane or a car/bike that way you can relax a litlle.
nathan360
Note that if you drive the train at full speed, it will crash at some point. -Natedogg

Brown Streak RR
Yea, i love making the trains tip Erm, derail. Sorry, I just couldn't stand that. Trains tipping. Yes, Mxy pointed it out already. Don't forget you can jack the locomotive too, just like a regular vehicle. Although, you can't skip the trip. (Now, why would you want to do that?) Actually, there is a ticket to buy Airbourne. You just don't physically buy the ticket. It's paid for when you enter the passenger car, that is, if you haven't completed the frieght missions. Hardy
Note that if you drive the train at full speed, it will crash at some point. -Natedogg When you use the side cam (which is annoyingly changing to other views all the time), you can sse the train shake at around 47-48. When it shakes, you risk derailing. Stay below it and you can shoot thorugh very small corners without derailing.
GritSandWiches4Breakfest
No, you can't buy any for the trains. No use anyway, just like the airports.
