Hardy
I was doing the taxi missions with my fully tuned taxi, just overtaking a car on my side, when all of a sudden a car shot towards me like a bullet; so fast that I almost didn't see it coming and almost fell of my chair. It collided and sort-of melted with my taxi, both caught fire and then they exploded. The remainings are stuck to the ground like a rock. Cool game! You never know what's gonna happen next! PS: I discovered the wtf-moments-thread too late. Would fit there I think. Edited August 25, 2005 by Hardy

Dr. Stupid
Waaaiit a second... if they exploded, how come they're not charred and blackened and stuff? They looked vaguely Photoshopped. I believe the story, not the pictures. That is all.
chaoticmayhem
It actually happens to me pretty often.

Cars on PC don't turn black after exploding for some stupid reason... but cars do get locked together on PS2 and PC....

Hardy
@chaoticmayhem Yes, that looks exactly like the glitch I experiented! Maybe you're provoking it with your nickname. Somehow I like those glitches. They give the game character and it's funny. Do you know the one road at San Fierro next to a small meadow that is very steep? Cars go down and up there very fast. Not as fast as in this glitch, but they regularly cause accidents there because they can't brake. You really have to avoid this short piece of road when on an important mission! GritSandWiches4Breakfest
Ya, thats fairly common if you drive slowly on fast highways.
Hardy
On highways you can expect it, because the speed is naturally high there. Another glitch occurs more often now in my game: cars that are spawned in the wrong direction and turn around on the street in a weird way. It's really annoying when you try to avoid damage. I think one of the most important things is mastering high speed in traffic without colliding. Cars take turns so instantly that you can't evade, and they always take the turn if you are in the way. Ironically the safest route through GTA-traffic appears to be on the wrong side of the road ( except when a missile-car is spawned ) and on the pavement.
