Chunks
I have to admit that when he offered everyone the food, i had the suspicion that the food was posioned in some way and he was trying to kill them. As someone mentioned earlier in this topic, i am also trying to match the characters with what was said on the advert, "one of them is a murderer" etc etc, and i think it will be the ones we least suspect. Like after the incident with the guy shooting the polar bear with the gun, i don't think either of them two will be a murderer, it will be someone like the man who played backgammon with the kid. I haven't seen episode 3 yet as i only got 4 channel TV. Please remember people, some of us haven't seen most of it, so please use spoiler tags. Grandthefter
Now watching the first two episodes again on E4 and while waiting for the third one to come on. Theres so much stuff going on in LOST from just the first two episodes, like whats the thing in the forest is(episode one) and what did kate do to be the person who was wearing the cuffs?(episode two). I can't wait to see the third one, hopefully some things will become clearer. Knowing our luck things will get more confusing. I dont trust the korean one though, i just dont like him, he seems like the evil one. EDIT: After watching the second episode again i've noticed that when Sawyer shoots the polor bear and the others come and looke Boone says something along the lines of 'do you think thats what killed the pilot?' when earlier they purposly didn't mention him when asked if there were any survivors in the cockpit. It maybe nothing but the plot has alot of twists and this could be one of them Edited August 14, 2005 by grandthefter
Goodfella.
At first I also thought the Korean guy was trying to poison the others, but then I realised that it's probably just the writers trying to throw you off. The same they did with Charlie in the first plane sequence flashback, him running through the plane just before the turbulance was pretty sugestive that he had something to do with it. I love it when shows are like that though, always keeps ya guessing. I'm looking forward to the next episode, especially to see what Kate did to be in custody of the US Marshall. caponester
Everyone should flick over to E4 after it's on channel4. I've seen the website and watched the 5 minute videos of all the episodes. Trust me, you ain't seen nothing yet. Ok, here it goes. The survivors struggle in day to day life, they split up. one half of the survivors attempt to build a raft while the other half explore the jungle. The Iraqi man leaves and is captured by the french woman who is mysteriouslly still alive. He discovers that there are other survivors from the french expidition. Meanwhile Locke takes Boone under his wing and shows him a secret. Boone finds a crashed plane and radios for help, to his horror the people on the other radio don't believe there were any survivors and the plane crashes mortally wounding boone. Meanwhile Locke has found a hatch in the ground which cannot be opened from the outside. Jack and the Iraqi man are shown the Hatch and demand it to be opened, however as they noticed there are no handles on the outside, maybe it was not meant to be opened. The pregnant woman gives birth to a boy while Walt, his dad, the korean man and Sawyer sail for safety. Meanwhile the french woman returns and procliams "they are coming" Jack, Hurley, Locke and Sajid (iraqi guy) blow open the hatch with some tnt they found in the french outpost. As the hatch blows open Hurley discovers that there are digits on the hatch, the same digits he won the lottery with! as Jack and Locke gingerley look down the hatch they discover that it goes so deep down they cant see the bottom, worse still the ladder down had been sabotaged to keep whatevers down there, down. Meanwhile the people on the boat meet a boat out at sea, after initial joy at there rescue it all turns sour as there supposed rescuers turn out to be from the ISLAND! they take walt and blow up the raft leaving them stranded out at sea to certian death. Series 1 ends with the image of Locke, on his knees, alone crying by the hatch saying "I've done everything you said, why are you doing this?" only for a light to turn on inside. If you just read that, know I've missed out some pretty major stuff, oh and the monster turns out to be a security system to protect the hatch My theory on the program is the island is used for genetic research (see spoilers) but only time will tell, all I will say is don't trust Locke or Kate. Both are not as they seem. Plus Jack is not who he seems.

papanesta
Managed to catch the third episode tonight (the morning showing that finished at 3.15am). Watching Lost Revealed, quite a few spoliery bits, but nothing major. Or so it seems.
Wolfwood
I was also thinking that it reminds me of Lord Of The Files, but that was in a good way. I believe I would like to know more about Charlie, he seems to be hiding something, but he is really interesting at the same time. 'You are, everybody!' I would also like to know what is up with that old guy, who likes to play Backgamen. He seems a very odd character. But, I don't want any spoilers. 'You are, everybody!' The thing that got to me, was the French message, been going for 16 years and 5 months, you know something is up.
Devyl
I know what the monster is. I'm not even going to put it into spoilers as it's too good. All I will say is it's half machine, half living Also, anyone remember the chick waiting for her husband in the beginning? Ever wonder where she went? Well, season 2 picks up with her going through the jungle to find him, when she does, as well as the other half of the missing people. Another thing to ponder... The "others" who took the boy, where did they get the gas for their boat? Finally: If you made it to oceanic airlines website, you get to see the trailer for season 2. I won't post the site or how to "find" the trailer though unless you want me to, however a short synopsis follows: "They will find out, on the other side of the island, they're NOT the survivors they THOUGHT they were" and it shows them running through the jungle franticlly, as if running AWAY from something, all whilest screaming like little school girls. papanesta
Little bit of a spoiler here, nothing that big, just who the "Murderer" is: On Lost Revealed last night, it is shown that the Korean guy is in fact the murderer. He is seen with blood on his hands and his wife slapping him about. Maybe this is why she looks so scared of him.
EmSixTeen
Another thing to ponder... The "others" who took the boy, where did they get the gas for their boat? Dude, don't do that. After watching the third episode, seems I was wrong about the Chinese Koreans. Ah well, good to keep guessing things
papanesta
I know, it honestly doesn't take that much to put anything that might be a spoiler, in spoilers. Some of the later episodes look really spooky.
EmSixTeen
As much as I'd love to watch the trailers and future episodes, I don't really want to at the same time.. Having something to watch on TV let's me get away from the boredom on the PC.
papanesta
I'm not watching any of the future episodes. Not a chance. But, the Lost Revealed program had quite a few clips from episodes coming up.
EmSixTeen
Yeah, same reason why I'm not watching that. Gonna have to start watching Six Feet Under again too, but that's a different show so..
papanesta
It's funny, you can watch each episode many times. I keep spotting different things each time.

Chunks
I would also like to know what is up with that old guy, who likes to play Backgamen. He seems a very odd character. I haven't read the spoiler that gave it away, so i may be wrong, but i want the blackgammon guy to be the murderer, as he seems totally the wrong guy to be one, and therefore would be the best one........if you get me, Lmao. I'm not reading any of the spoilers, and nor am i visiting any websites to find anything out, as i want to watch it one episode at a time and try and take everything in, then watch the next episode and put things together. And yeah, even the smallest things can be spoilers... "You are, everybody!" Wild thought/theory here:- "You are, everybody" probably relates to the theory that this is just a dream, and each person is having the same dream, so in fact, they really are everybody.... My little theory.

Goodfella.
I think that was the line Charlie kept singing, but I'm not sure as I couldn't really understand what he was saying.
Devyl
just to let you know, the directors of the show said: That they are alive on the island, in other words, it isn't hell or heaven, they aren't "dreaming" this, they aren't cybernetically put into this thing like in the matrix, etc... Chunks
Who even said that...? As Dan mentioned, it was Charlie. When they are off to find the cockpit, he starts singing it to the woman and tells her he was part of a band, and she keeps saying "they were good"... "You are, everybody." Brown Streak RR
Personally, IMO I don't think Charlie's band and song have anything to do with spoilers, but that's just me. You could be right, in all respects, and I'm glad you concieved a possible, er, fact. For lack of a better word. In case you don't know, Charlie's band is, or 'was', depending, titled Drive Shaft. I keep saying this, but I sincerly hope we get some more information this season. And for those of you who haven't seen all the episodes yet... HA! papanesta
I was just on the Oceanic Airlines site. I didn't stay there long last time, but did this time. Found the trailer and such. And another spooky thing. Also found a DriveShaft website, for the fictional band in the program. Weird. EDIT: It's "You All Everybody.", not "You Are Everybody." Lol. Somthing like 5.1million for the pilot (ha!) episodes and little websites to pieces of it, i wouldn't be suprised if there was more than just this, the oceanic airline and the official one on the net somewhere. papanesta
Oh, by the way: If you go to www.channel4.com/lost, and use the Lost Untold game thing, there is a point where you are given Jack's e-mail at the hospital he works at. I sent him and e-mail, and got this reply: Hi, I am currently on holiday in Sydney. I expect to be back on duty on Monday, August 15. In my absence, please contact Dr Ruddin or Dr Melfort on extension -3298 and -0815 respectively. Regards Jack Shephard
