Ratt
Would it be a good idea to try and sync the trains? You could have games where you gotta de-rail or blow up the train before it reaches its destination, that would be COOLIES Omg i can imagine it now, like the mission for smoke

Ratt
You can when you're driving them, not sure about when somebody else is driving them though. If you can, that would add a whole new relm of fun

But yes syncing the train would be awesome.

If someone was able to stay on one of the trains with railings or boxes stopping them from falling off, you could have some great drive-by type things. Omg, i hope they can sync them

Ratt
[10:48] <kyeman> anything is possible to do, but consider that we work on this game in our spare time and without access to the game's source code[10:49] <kyeman> so whether or not they'll be synced will come down to time
NTK
you can derail trains in singleplayer? You can derail trains when you're going 190kph... PS: Trains don't blow up i think that was obvious when everyone shot a missile at it and 10 hyrdras helped along.

NTK
you can derail a train with an RPG or a bus That never worked... They're only derailed by speed.
Ratt
Ah thats a shame, you could still have some great fun and make some good films with synchronized trains. What happens when the train hits a car it cant move out the way, like if one was parked accross the two barriers? I presume they would just get locked into each other like when a tram is pushed into your car.
NTK
1: If a train hits a car the car always gets knocked away. 2: if you go fast enough into a barrier and make it just a bit after it while it's automaticly slowing down, you are able to go anywhere with a train. Ratt
Yeh i noticed that but i'm in LV anyway so the barries aren't there. A train cant knock a car out the way if its against a part of the map. If the barriers are solid, the train should either derail or get locked into the car.
