nypdgetaway Posted August 7, 2005 Share Posted August 7, 2005 there are alot of plane crashes in san fierro, actually, the only plane crashes ive seen are in san fierro, and it gets really annoying, i had 2 special weapons, nightvision and cs gas, i walked out of the victim shop store got in my car, then a plane just crashed in the side, blew up, my car was in the air so i couldnt get out, but blew up when i hit the ground, losing those weapons, just annoying Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think it's just a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and I actually enjoy the crashes. It adds atmosphere to the game. It adds atmosphere to the game. heh, you want reality? take an AT-400 and land it at Los Santos Airport while flying west to east (so you have to drop down soon as you pass over the cranes). That should give you a lil realistic insight to the latest "miracle crash". I'm just amazed that there were no casualties when they had less than 120 seconds to abandon the plane. I look back and there was AT-400. It looked like it catched the top of some building - a damaged burning wing. It came right at me so to see more of it I started riding the same way plane did. While I was speeding away it dropped inches behind my back - exactly same spot I was 2 seconds before. I live, d*ckheads. And about that in Toronto - that was f*cking miracle. I saw some amatuer video on some frnch channel taken from Terminal. It was like a minute between plane crashed and started burning. At first my only thought was "Holy crap did that just happen?" then I noticed that my helo was starting to yaw to the right (I was in first person view) and at first thought I could correct it and fly on to my airstrip. But as much as I tried to control the spin it just kept getting worse until a terrible image entered my mind: Cop helos spinning out of control as they plummeted to the earth and exploded. I hit the triangle button as fast as I possibly could and wasnt a moment too soon either. I was literally blasted away from the helo by the first explosion and thrown to the ground about 200 feet below. I barely survived the fall into the bushes. The helo, on the other hand, exploded into flames on a bridge over the freeway. No fewer than 10 cars and 20-30 pedestrians went with it. Amazingly this did not give me a wanted level. So with my healthbar blinking, I walked over to inspect the damage and watch the firetruck put out the fire. After about 5 minutes of watching them spray the paramedics away from the dead people, I decided to lend a helping hand with my fire extinguisher. I took aim at the nearest flame and squeezed the trigger and was promptly shot dead by a cop as putting out the fire gave me a wanted level. The noise was getting louder an the plane crashed right into the car i was carjacking . i got in and so did Katie. seeing my vehicle was on fire, i run as fast as i could, turned around, and saw the many explosions. i thought "die Katie b*tch" and indeed, she died. To my surprise the progress bar appered on top of the screen saying: Relationship +. CJ_Vercetti Posted August 30, 2005 Share Posted August 30, 2005 damn it, I have played SA for more than 100 hours and I've never seen such thing as the plane crashing... but I did see a strange thing yesterday, I got out of my house in Angel Pine and jacked a Sanchez, and when I got to the crossing I saw a car that was going backwards and then suddenly it turned around (2Fast2Furious style) and went in high speed... that's wierd thing... I was on top of the mountain and I heard a sound and was looking around like HUH? And than I see this plane sliding down 2 freet at me.. I get pushed off the mountain........
