This mission is very annoying, best thing to do is, if you can keep doing it and get use to the timing and order of the keys, you will soon be so used to it, you'll find it easy to complete.

Fragger.

It's a matter of rythm. You need to hit the keys to the beat of the song, not when they go in the circle. It's a Parappa the Rappa thing.

yeah and actually its more in the off beat..!, a guy had a problem with the dancing system before and thats what i told him.

1-tap and never press on the keyboard(the whole thing has a bit of laggy attitude)

2-delayed moves scores while early moves dont count even if theyre so close.

so just tap and try to hit a bit late to make sure u get score,GL Shifty41s_beerhatsmilie2.gif

You press num2, num4, num6, and num8. There have been many threads about this. Please search next time.

Trolls . . . .

Crawl back under your bridge, little one.

Everyone has trouble with that mission at first. You may want to check out the dance club, where you can get more practice with that sort of challenge. After the dance tests, the lowrider challenge is pretty easy.

The problem is I lose now by so little and only because the diagonal keys 1,3,7 and 9 are not always recognised! Wish there was a cheat for this mission, because so far I have loved the missions except this one. And of course I believe it is part of the main story, so you HAVE to complete it - which is even MORE frustrating!!! sad.gif

Really old topic.

Your problem is

THERE ARE NO Diagonal keys.

You have to hit a Combination of 2,4 2,6 6,8 etc. to get the diagonal movement.

that should solve your problem.

Hint: Get a USB GamePad (12 button minimum) then you can really whip through the game.

i think that is where i have been having problems with dancing missions then i have had the game about a year and i have always failed miserably on dancing dates i managed to beat that lowrider mission quite easily though for some reason tounge.gif

Of course there is no way that the animations, videos and music could be out of sync?

Listen to the music.

Right. I past the low rider and the beach party missions this way:

For the lowrider I used the WASD keys and didn't bother with the diagonals and managed it, for the beach party I used the number pad and again ignored the diagonals and got past it. Getting past it (in terms of the game recognising when you hot the key so it matches) is using the WASD or the Number Pad and see which one does the business for you. When I used the number pad in the low rider mission I was always out of sync. With the WASD keys I aced it first time.

this mission is quite easy when you have practised little numbad movement. by default the keys are

up jump- num2

left jump-num 4

right jump- num 6

down jump - num 8

for diagnols you have to press 2 keys toghether liek its up left then 8,4 toghether

and if you on laptop! use wasd or change thekey to whaetvere suits you. one hing is in wasd changes diagnols are also like that just you can leave diagnols movement in dance but don't miss others

Sorry for the unbelievable bump of a very old thread, but all 2 does for me is change radio station, 8 and 6 do nothing. the game doesnt even say anything apart from 2 is to bounce and caplock is to lock the car in place (which is ridiculous if more buttons are required.). I tried this exact mission, got every tap in time but it kept saying i was missing it or i failed etc. i have to say im finding keyboard controls torturous. any help or advice? my controls are completely default. and for me the visual cues and music seem perfectly in sync.

EDIT : this thread was the first result in Google when i type in GTA San Andreas Low Rider challenge. At least i searched.

Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files and delete the gta_sa.set file. It should fix the "skipping" bug.

Vialpando LowRider Jumping Car competitions:

Special Control Left = NumPad 4 {Jump LEFT

Special Control Right = NumPad 6 {Jump RIGHT

Special Control Up = NumPad 8 (or DEL key) {Jump UP

Special Control Down = NumPad 2 (or END key) {Jump DOWN

To jump up & Left = NumPad 4 and 8 at same time.

To jump up & Right = NumPad 6 and 8 at same time.

To Jump down & Left = NumPad 4 and 2 at same time.

To Jump down & Right = NumPad 6 and 2 at the same time.

Make sure your Keyboard - Repeat Delay is SHORT & Repeat Rate is FAST

(Start/Control Panel/Keyboard)

If you have Problems with Cesar Vialpando ARROWS:

Turning off the Frame Limiter.

Using a Lower screen Resolution.

Be Sure You Are Using the NUMPAD keys.

If you have a LapTop engage the 'FN' Key to activate the imbedded NumPad.
