Grammaton Cleric
How exactly do you go about making a car rear-wheel drive if it is front wheel drive? Like the Jester, I want that to be rear-wheel not front. Plus I have a Shelby GT500 installed and it has a set of rear wheels that are bigger than the front wheels. But for some reason the bigger wheels are in the front and the smaller wheels are in the back O.o Any idea how to fix this?

simps
I can't open my file right now, but I'll try to explain as best as I can. 1) Back-up your Handling.cfg first 2) Open it with Notepad 3) Look for a column with only 1-digit/letter per row. 4) Make sure they are either F, R, or 4. 5) Check the description of the column towards the top of the document to see if it involves wheels (I'm not sure what it says). 6) Now edit the line on which your modded car is. Change what ever the column says to the "R" (stands for Rear-wheel drive)

Change what ever the column says to the "R" (stands for Rear-wheel drive) Hey thanks for that. But do you know if there's any way to change out "big" or wide a tire is? For some reason the front tires are much bigger than the rear ones, which just doesn't look right. I'm talking about the GT500 by Slaver (using Ganjica's model)... it's suppose to replace the Elegy, but I renamed it and replaced it with the Stallion instead... In the pictures all 4 wheels are even, but not for me
Grammaton Cleric
Actually I found out how to make the tires bigger by messing around in the Vehicles.ide But I need to find out how to make the tired WIDER not just bigger... EDIT: Figured it out Edited August 5, 2005 by Grammaton Cleric
efslayer
u should get Ultimate Editor, it lets you edit all kinds of stuff like that without having to go through your handling.cfg and all that
StreekG
its as easy as getting a handling editor and changing the drive type, or you could open the handling yourself in notepad, and look at the legend type thingo, and change it according to that, i used to do that a lot... GTAnarcist
Use ultimate editor and edit the handling flags and click R/F Wheel Wide/2.
