Beat Down B Dup tactics advice needed

I've tried various spots in Glenn Park to start, and various run-arounds in trying to beat this mission, but no matter how far I get, I end up dead, even with grabbing the health and armor.

 

I need advice on where to station CJ and where to move to and so forth. Needn't be that specific, but general useful advice would be much appreciated.

after starting the war, run away from the enemy. Take the sniper rifle and take them out from a safe distance. If they come within fireing range again, run away.

That's the way I took over most gang territories.

Thanks for the tips. I beat the mission already, but by the skin of my teeth. I was just not in the right spot to both grab the health and armor and shoot the sob's. I used the Vulcan Mini gun on 'em after the 1st wave. As usual, the sidekick was no help, either he was in my way or he did nothing.

 

But your tip about the sniper rifle looks like it'll come in real handy

Finding a tactical spot to start gang war is very important! Usually house's roof or 2nd floor will give you tactical advantage. Crouch all the time and stand back a little when reload or situation too hot! There is a nice place to cover yourself well in Glenn Park. You should notice a small car park at the opposite road south of the park. Beside it there is a stair going up. That's the spot! I only got hit 3-4 times to finish the mission.

 

I'm start to think if a Rhino tank help. Never try it because I just returned to LS.

 

EDIT: OK I tried it tonight. It is EXTREMELY easy using Rhino tank to fight a gang war. However you have to get off the tank and shoot the enemy gangsters by your own weapon. Rhino's cannon don't count!
