Can't pickup stuff

Hi I have a problem.

Right now I can do 2 missions - one is robbing caligulas casino and 2nd getting Smoke.

I can't fininish either of them because I can't pick-up stuff.

In the caligulas casiono mission after doing the job i get on the roof toop and have to pick up the parachute -

but I can;t I go through it and nothing happens it statys there - and I dont have it already equipped. I did this mission twice and the same thing happened.

In the other mission after killing Smoke I have to get out of the building, but I need the fire extinguisher and I cant pick it up so I have to die.

Maybe I'm carrying to much stuff? Apart from usual guns I have also a knife, nightvision, camera and dildo. Is it possible to drop a weapon?

TAB usually exchanges the stuff in a slot with what you want to pick up.

Maybe you already have a parachute

Even if you have passed Plane School and get an automatic parachute every time you bail out of a plane, you can still pick up a single-use parachute at any time.

 

Sounds like something is screwy with his game. I wonder if he's running a mod or has used cheats?

This happened to me too, didn't use cheats... first time i did this mission i had a parachute already, thats why i thought i couldn't pick it up, so i jumped from the roof but couldn't use it and died, 3rd time i went to do this mission i first went to the airport and jumped from a plane to make sure i didnt have any parachute. But i still couldn't pick it up, i dunno how to solve this problem tho... pretty much sucks.
