I've been browsing these forums for awhile checking out the Troubleshooting topics for my own San Andreas issues (crashes during all basketball and dancing missions and save-game issues) and found alot of helpful topics, but sadly none worked. As a last resort I uninstalled the game and deleted ALL folders and files related (by searching the registry and My Computer). Then, upon reinstallation it worked!

I then installed my favoarte mod, Main.scm (It enables you to visit any city from the start of the game) and all my troubles came back. Luckily I made a backup.

Another problem was the No-DVD/No Crash exe, it seemed to use a new set of saved games, ignoring my previous ones. One bad thing about this fix is you'll probably have to start a new game if you change back from a No-DVD/No Crash exe. Sucks but its worth it.

If your having similar problems take these mods off, I hope it helps.
