RichD
Hi, Can somebody explain how to do the NRG 500 Challenge? The coronas in mid-air are proving very hard to reach, and I'm sure it's just my technique with the bike. I don't know how to approach the sides of the 'bowl' in such a way as to control the direction of my jump. I've tried this mission dozens of times but just can't do it, and would rather learn how to do it myself than use the Save & Play.
EmSixTeen
I haven't played the game in months and only did on PS2, but if I recall it's best to sort of gain a bit of speed from either the flat end or the U shaped end, and just try to turn tight into the transition and use the momentum to go up and get the coronas. I think I know what you mean.... start at the middle of one end, go straight along, then turn sharply in to the side.... I'll try it tonight and see. I just tried to draw a diagram in ASCII characters so I could clarify what I thought you meant, but stupid HTML is ignoring my multiple spaces. Oh well, I'll let you know how it goes. Plaka
There's a Video around that helped me called NRG too easy [file name: NRG.challenge.BOS.avi] The guy who made it is a member here ... can't remember his nick but its hosted on game-alliance.com you have to register to download. EmSixTeen
That's pretty much what I meant RichD, but if you could find that video then it would help a lot more. I looked on thegamersalliance and couldn't find it, but I found this.. But it's archived and "is now only available from 12AM to 12PM EST (GMT -5)." Edit: It does seem to be the right video, actually
RichD
They also don't seem to know that 12am to 12pm means midnight to midday. I've just tried it and it's down. Oh well, I'll try later....
