Forfit Posted August 3, 2005 Share Posted August 3, 2005 Well as of now i have an nvidia 5500fx 128mb but i want to upgrade so i have my eyes set on two different cards, the Nvidia 6600 agp 256mb, and the 6600GT agp 128mb. What i would like to know is which one you think would be better for gaming, i have been looking closely at the Core and memory clock speeds as well as the ram of the card, but would it be better to get the 6600 256mb (Core/mem=300/500) or the 6600GT 128mb(core/mem=500/1000)?? if you need my specs its: amd xp 3200+ 1 gig ram asus mobo with agp open( idont have pci-e) 350 watt antec psu i think thats it, thanks guys.
