When I saw LC in the mission it was enough for me...really, this has to be the most-often asked question about the game.

"How do I get to the half-acre of Portland they added to San Andreas? There's like sooo much to do there!"

Like it was said earlier....I know how to get to Liberty City with no cheats or codes or anything. Just put the GTA3 disk in and there's our old buddy Claude.

So there's a camera in the game....and a bajillion screenshots of said half-acre of Portland they put in San Andreas....wow, snow...Are you in Texas? (I'm near Houston.) If so, we were in awe like that when seven inches of snow inexplicably dumped on us last Christmas morning....the novelty wore off quickly, as it did when I played deep enough into the game to (sans cheats) reducing Forelli mobsters to something resembling a cross between swiss cheese and shark chum inside St. Mark's Bistro while enjoying the limited (and largely nonsolid and therefore non-existent - think of it as 3D spray paint) sights of Liberty City within San Andreas.

It's a nostalgic touch in the game (unless you're like me and never played III until after playing SA), but so is playing a remake of the old Atari game Tempest inside CJ's house. And yes, that too gets boring after awhile. Personally, I could have done without the half-assed venture to LC for one mission in favor of some extra stuff in the wide, wild world of San Andreas. Hell, put the damn skateboard in and let CJ get in touch with his inner Tony Hawk. That would've given us something fun to do while not being able to interact with any of the characters after getting 100%, eh Rockstar? (I still love y'all. rahkstar2.gif )

Sorry for going on a rant, but this is a topic in which, from the getgo, I have failed to see what's the big deal. Don't shoot me now, alright?

PS2, PC or XBOX?

If PS2/XBOX: You can't.

yes you can. you need unlimited height of jet pack cheat. you need to go to the underworld...

1.go to ganton gym

2.shoot everyone there

3. go near the punch bags.

4. use jet pack cheat and go up

5. go here p><p>8. go here <img src=

9. get there and have fun!

Outside of the mission "Saint Mark's Bistro" you cannot get to the portion of Liberty City that is in GTA: San Andreas.

Truth be told, Liberty City is not really in San Andreas. It is actually simply an interior in the interior heavens; it's modeled after Marco's Bistro in the Saint Mark's district of Portland as seen in GTA3 and Liberty City Stories. Unlike in GTA3, you actually see inside the bistro. But only a small portion of ground outside the bistro is solid, and much of the background is non-solid texture.

Makes me wonder why a lot of people bother so much getting to Liberty City when they're in San Andreas sarcasm.gif The easiest way without cheat I guess is to play GTA3 rolleyes.gif

There is but it is not the complete city. It only covers up Saint Mark, and the texture is very screwed up.

It seems clear that you want to go to Liberty City when not in a mission. To do it you must download a software called Crazy trainer. It must be the version which allows you to jetpack up down and ahead in the camera direction. When you have this, you can then begin the procedure.

In the trainer make

TAB-1 enable jetpack

TAB-2 move in camera direction

TAB-3 MOVE DOWN

TAB-4 MOVE UP

the trainer moves your charactor with XYZ chordinates so you don't have a height limit.

enter the ganton gym and fly east until you hear music. The map will show you at the point above denis's house.

enter the yellow marker and then you will be in a brothel. it is empty.

now fly to the coast road between the stadium and the ocean. REMEMBER STAY AT CONSTANT HEIGHT.

remember stay just as high as the brothel, the markers you find are at this level.

When you reach the location between the beach ocean and the stadium, the sky all around will go black and u will be close to a marker. this will take you into the interior of Liberty City.

When you have been in this marker, fly at the same height to the location north of the cemitary near the transfender

you will see walls that are not solid and when you look closer it is only 70% of the aria covered by Portland.

If this does not help read the topic HIDDEN INTERIORS VIA GANTON GYM and remember you can do it without a height limit because you have crazy trainer

cheers

I am going to create a SA-MP server for play in LC, with borders so you don't fall. I'm working on it now lol. LC is very small smile.gif

I have a few questions about reaching liberty ciry. At the end of the level where you are actually in liberty city I know there is a trick to super jump over the wall but I would like to know if super jump is a button code and also if you can just use a jetpack and fly over the wall. I was also wondering if anyone has ever tried, once they have just done the following, to fly to the warehouse and back trhough the roof of ganton gym and leaving back into san andreas while you are still in the middle of your mission in Liberty City.

1) Yes, super jump is a button cheat.

2) No, you can't use the jetpack.

3) I don't think it'll work unless you have gameshark because you don't have the necessary tricks to fly back.

And why would you need to superjump? I mean, the best way to explore it is through the MapViewer.
