ESC = crash

Alt tab = crash

 

But I guess you know that..

 

Vehicles looked good.

 

Switch glitching was there, glad I got to show it, though gamefreek was firering it up good too.

I guess he was crouch glitching ?

 

On my screen I saw people´s getting up animation play while they floated down the street in midair, only to disappear and materialize behind me lol.

Lots of movement/shooting animations were off.

 

I did manage to shoot downwards.´Though I saw the opposite too, another person´s shots going plain horizontally while trying to fire at me below.

 

4 times out of 3 when entering a helicopter, my player would scoop over a slot and sit as a passenger.

sometimes opening the door off a heli would make you fall over, the random diving when people are shooting at you aswell, all expected at the moment, atleast most of the things that plague 'other' mods are slowly being sorted

i would say everyone who was on this server and had the chance to play. saw that SA-MP know what they do.

 

VC-MP and SA-MP will become two great multiplayer mods for GTA.

 

for me i know now that they work had on it. and so i would say, work ahead and do you best that the final releasing version is perfect.

 

for me the time is not interesting. when the final version is perfect then i would wait 1year =)

w'll i was using UK V1.0 & Esc crashed my game.. i did Alt-Tab once but it didnt crash my game(this was when i was about to pick skin)

Everyone should have been using the same version of Vice City anyway (1.0), and the Alt+Tab crash is well known, it wont crash when it minimizes but rather when you go back in-game.

yeah, thats what happened to me, also sometimes passenger doors lock on u while u are inside and u can bail out while someone is driving, other than that, i found it great

No i wasnt crouch glitching, i was switch glitching. Its part of the game, does that make it illegal to do?

Just have to say I got in on the second test, and wow, OK, not everything is perfect, but the combat got sooo intense at one point, and so fast, it could have been a single player war biggrin.gif

 

pitty some dont understand what *team dm* is, but ah well biggrin.gif keep up the great work!

I am just sad to see history repeat itself.

how hard is it to dodge his attacks? Jumping is in the game, and you can kill anyone with the weapons given easily. The stubby isn't the strongest in vc-mp.

In MTA I could kill 9 out of 10 modders. But, that does not mean I want them in the game.

exactly...after some testing vc:mp in open beta stage 2 I can say that u guys made a bomb, its a great multiplayer and lets hope u not gonna delay server release for a long time

 

One more time thanks sa-mp team for bringing Vice City back online for me and many other ppl smile.gif

I just wanna say, I had the most fun I've had playing Vice in a long time, that mod was brilliant. And yeah pity some people don't give a damn about the teams and just team kill, but I guess you'll always get people like that. Had a few crashes, about 3 restarts when the "loading" text came up before connecting, but otherwise a great mod, well done team.

I saw deja vú movement a lot, people would come running at me only to warp back a few steps and come running at me again.

Also, I noticed some people were flickering. Others were floating in midair, warping left and right. I´d see people´s fall over animation play a lot without them having been knocked down.

Those were gang people from MTA though heh. But one person is enough to poison it all.

So far the switch glitch is in, maybe the rest is too : /

In my opinion it matters a lot that the"MTA exploits" get killed, if possible.

Speaking of which, I do not remember seeing any molotovs or nades ?

Yeah, when shooting someone down with an Shotgun/Spaz/Stubby you notice that it seems like you hit them, they fall, but it is a fast fall and they seem to run while laying on the ground which got pretty confusing. Also half of the time when you knocked someone down on their screen, on your screen it looked like they were running in a single place and just flickering.

 

Also I noticed that usually crouching was not synched, and after experimenting with the crouching the people around me told me I was not shooting even when I was shooting. confused.gif The melee's also seemed really weak/desynched. Time/Weather also seemed not to be synched.

 

It was a very good test and ages ahead of anything MTA has released thus far, hopefully these bugs/desynch issues will be fixed and we will get what we all hope will be the perfect MP mod. happy.gif

Yes also when people "dive" or "fall on the floor" the body seems to slide accross the floor then stop and then get back up... weird confused.gif

In the LC-MP testing i found some bugs..

 

1)

This happen a few times.. you see the tag but you dnt see the body.

Im guessing this is an GTA-LC bug ..on the 2nd island near the cop station there's a building.. if you walk next to it you'll fall down through the floor.

somehow the actor arm got stuck in the animation of when you shoot with a pistol, to get out of the just shoot couple of times.

 

Overall it was a gr8 beta test, nice job team hope ya fix thes lil bugs.
