Nah you can as long as its under 2.8, you just have to use HEN-D to upgrade I am fairly sure.

 

Anyway for those interested in getting their PSX games to work on their PSP's with 3.02 OE-B, I'm currently going through the process of learning how its done so if I am successful I can help those who need it.

I've done it, except PAL games don't really work too good. I've tried a copy of my friends NTSC version of RE3 seems to work perfectly. PAL games i've tried are GTA, loads and stops , RE3 same, Worms same, Tomb Raider 3 crapped up sound, Spyro the Dragon and Alien Trilogy seem to work with cut off screen.

Yeah I tried my PAL GT2(Both discs and THPS2 and they didn't even load, I got my NTSC Dino Crisis 2 to work. I've heard that you can actually convert a PAL game into a NTSC with a converter. I might try that and let you know.

Dont know if this has been mentioned in here, search takes to long, but does anyone know of any good programs to use to convert itunes aac's to mp3's for my psp? I tried using JHymn's unlocker to convert but it wont let me authorize the program to get the keys :\.

ok last night i put on some songs and a vid onto my psp.. i then checked they were on there and worked and they did. Then i left my psp to charge. When it was done i went to sleep. The next day i turned it on and all the music files were boxes saying 0 songs.. and my vid said unsupported data.. i then deleted them off the psp and now wen i plug my psps to computer using usb the folders arnt there and there is nothing on my psp but it says i only have 4682kb left.. WTF!? i cant find any data on it..do u know what happened plz help..

 

P.S i didnt know where to post this but really need help (posted here cos i lost vice city stories data with all the rest )

ye nor me i did jus format it, thx all memory back to normal but i lost my game save

 

has any 1 got a game save that works for vice city story euro ?

 

all other gamesaves that i tryed say corrupt data wen i put them in the savedata file. btw they are zip

Well, first you must have a file zipper application, such as WinZip or WinRAR. If you're using Windows XP, you probably have one already. With the WinXP app, open the folder where they're in and you should have a menu on your left. Find among the options something that says "Extract all files", or something along those lines. Use the wizard, locate the directory you put your savefiles in with it and keep pressing Continue. You're done.

Yeah I've tried it and got Dino Crisis 2 to work, you might be having problems because PAL games don't convert so well and also you may need to use a more user-friendly GUI for converting your games. The standard popstation is tricky to use if you aren't really into command lines and stuff like that.

Using one of those 4gig harddrives? I had troubles with mine so I need to run games from my 1gig card. Works fine with that.

At the moment - game sharing has not been supported by game developers.

You're probably right because the I read the article about PSP features a long time ago. But so far all the games I own do not support it:

Is Project 8 good on PSP? i have the PS2 and its OK but how does it work on PSP? Does it have Nail a trick?

Anyone know where to find a good psp convertor ? I tried using psp video 9 but that didn't work for me. The sound and the video came in at different. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

I'm running on PSP Firmware vers. 3.03, is there any possible way at all I can download any emulators (such as GBA, N64, PS-One, etc.) onto it? On the downloads page for the emulators it states that you must have Firmware 2.81 or below to run them. Now, being a fan of old-skool gaming, I'd like to be able to play old games on my PSP. Could anyone help me out?

 

Also, is it just an emulator you need with downloaded ROMs? Or Homebrew or w/e too?

 

Any help would be much appreciated.

No chance at the moment, Your fw is the latest, so you can't downgrade.

No offense or anything, but it would help if you used basic grammar (just full stops, commas) and capital letters so people can understand you better. I skimmed across your post like I would anyone else's post and couldn't understand a word of it.

 

Just a word of advice.

 

@Brutuz: Damn, that sucks. Do you think they will make emulators compatible on vers. 3.03 sometime in the near future?

I am on another mission. I am looking for a PSX and N64 emu, what is the best one to get?

 

I read that a few N64's are a little slow, has this been overcome? Also i am on 2.60 FW.
