King. They announced that a couple months ago. That want to do as much as possible to make the ps3 look good so more people buy it. There might be a possitbility to were sony might let us start using Homebrew more. I read some article on it not to long ago. Im thinking it was on pspupdates.

irloading everything that sony has said about the Ps1 is really supposed to happen. More than likely its in the next biggest update which could be 3.00, I think I read some were the games could cost between the $5 - $15 price range.

Best thing to happend to the psp but what if you already have the PS game and don't want to buy a new one? Would they still make you or something?

Ok everyone what do you guys think I should do?

I either upgrade my PSP to 2.82 and have those cool demos

I save up for a second hand one and upgrade that.

I currently have a 2.00 PSP with no Homebrew.

More than likely even if you do own the ps1 games your going to have to buy them over to play them on your psp. Unless you magically put them on your computer and use the PS1 Emulator for the psp .

The only Homebrew that I have is the cheatdevice which I've gotton board of anyways.

Ok, im gonna kinda...interupt the topic.

 

For some reason, when I plug my psp in to charge, it locks all the buttons so they dont do anything. When I unplug it, it works. Now, It did'nt used to do that, and I did'nt change any settings.

 

Anyone know how to change it?

TXF make sure your hold button isnt on. Im sure you know what hold is on the psp?

You know what Sony should do to get people to upgrade, is add a USB Bluray Attachment for it that clips onto the back so they can not only have bigger games, but watch movies that you brought for PS3.

We don't have location free over here I don't think, but can't you plug a blue ray player into a location free player and just stream it to PSP? wirelessly.

Yeah, but not everyone can do that, and my Idea is I can import one from the US and watch Us movies and stuff

Good idea for long journeys are batteries, if i had some extra cash i would.

That kind of defeats the portable aspect of it, that would make it pretty damn big.

I'm sitting here with FW 2.80. Now should I upgrade to 2.82 for the demos and have no chance at all to get VCS Cheatdevice, or do I wait until a 2.80 downgrader comes out, which is very unlikley

You can play all 2.81/2.82 demos on 2.80, all's you need is a little hex editing.

Google XVI32, download it, run it, open up the demo EBOOT, use CTRL+H (I think) and replace all instances of 2.81 or 2.82 to 2.80. There's usually only one.

Anyone know how to view animated gifs on the psp?

Pretty sure the PSP can't view animated GIF's by standard, but if you get the LCS Video Viewer, you can watch short GIF's

Just to summarise. I have a 2.60 with SNES games that I play all the time. Is there anything in the updates since 2.60 what would enhance my PSP experience? If so, is it worth losing the ability to play SNES games?

Just got a little problem here. Everytime i switch on my PSP it always says that its not finding my memory card, so i have to switch it off take out my memory card and then put it back in, only then does it reconise it. Does anybody know whats making this happen

Back up your memstick on your PC, format it on on PSP then put all your stuff back on, see if it works.

Well the 3.0 update might be coming out soon! Team Overload has found the online Manual for the 3.0 update. It gives us some insights on what to look for. Visualizations while your listening to your music. Also, to put the ps1 games on your psp you HAVE to have a PS3 to transfer them.
