So I have £151 and that has to cover shipping for a 1GB memory and a cheap psp can you guys try and find cheap stuff for me I have been looking just not found very cheap stuff

Summary

£151=

1GB memory and psp

+ shipping

So if you find any good deals send them my way colgate.gif

Thanks Adam biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

No, just, no...

I don't know about pounds, but a psp + 1gb would cost about $400 american with tax and shipping. I know that's a lot more than 151 pounds. No, it dosen't get cheaper either, not even eBay. Try stealing one, it's free.

I don't have a clue what you just said. But I'm going to go find an ebay auction....

P.S. Thank God what's his face isn't here so we have to listen to him come in here and say: "but teh DS has 2 screans". I swear to god he's bashed the PSP in every single PSP topic before the official topic came along.

That's as close as you're going to get. Good luck with that. wink.gif

Games are region specific, I think. Movies are not, however.

Oh, and don't get a 1gb stick. They cost roughly $80-110 now. If anything, get the 2GB stick for around $150. Even if you quit using your PSP, I'm sure you could get a 2GB stick sold to a friend for $150.

No the PSP is a universal console meaning games from all regions work on it, UMD movies however are I think a different kettle of fish.

I might actually merge this to the already running PSP Topic.

Good news for those in Australia(or anywhere technically) who want the White PSP, DVDCrave have imported White JAP PSP Value Packs and are selling them for $389 which is less then the standard UK/AUS PSP Value Pack($399). Might bag one!

At least $400 is still way cheaper than the PSP itself in Mexico... suicidal.gif

Nice. I won't get a white PSP, i'll get getting a Jap PSP value pack from there, pretty cheap. Looks like DVDCrave gets LCS 1 week before everyone else! smile.gif

450 AUD for PSP and LCS, not bad at all xmas.gif

BTW freakeh, where is DVDCrave? I don't want to pay for damn shipping to get something that's in the same city as me.

Yeah mate I always save myself the shipping by going into their store since they are great in there unlike the morons at EB. They are located on Payneham Road in the Woolworths Shopping Area right next to Macca's at Felixstow. Probably a bit further then you'd like since you live in North Adelaide right?

I gather your getting the JAP PSP Value Pack which is $369? I looked at the basic JAP PSP(no value pack) which is $339 but really I want at least the little extras to get me started ie. the memory stick to save my GTA:LCS game.

I've had my White PSP for almost a week now, very sleek.

Anyway, getting a 512Mb stick and USB cable soon... just wondering if this converter is any good?

I'm after it due to that it can convert .RM files to .MP4 as well, which is a bonus. Has it be tried out, and is it alright?

Nah, I live around the Glenelg area, well Somerton Park. It would be a bit of a drive, but it's worth the saving. Although, my dad would probably use 30 bucks to get there because of thses fuel prices wink.gif I gotta try and think where it actually is though. You know how long it would be to get from DVDCrave to around the glenelg area or whatever?

Basically you'd just go straight through town along North Terrace and then just following it til it turns into Payneham and look for the big M and its in the shopping area there. I'd say your looking about half an hour from down your way.

There's a 'Free Download' link though.

I'll give it a try, and if it turns out to be poor, then a link to a decent converter would be appreciated.

Mind you, as long as it supports a wide range of files, and not just AVI or something.

If anyone knows of one of those places that has 2 GB sticks for under $170 that is not out of stock, be keen to point me in the right direction.

Oh, and I might, just might, open a LCD repair shop for PSPs.

there was a place that had them on sale for 1 day only for the same price as a 1 gig after rebates.

Too bad that is over. sad.gif

Downgrader + Faker + Genesis Emulator = Awesome.

Also, the guy who made Fastloader is simultaniously the most awesome and the most sh*ttiest guy ever for his fake BIOS Eraser. I thought I just hosed a customer's PSP the first time I tried it. nervous.gif

I was going to make a new topic but I realized there was already a PSP topic here. According to this Symantec, the company who makes Norton Antivirus, have found the first virus on the ps. But the last time they found a virus on a hand held machine it turned out they only had 4 more viruses on that particular machine.

I don't own a PSP but I wouldn't think this is much of a concern, due to the fact that there is no real reason other than annoyance to hack a psp. From what I understand hackers are out for money now days.

After rereading the article and this article it seems that this virus kills your psp.

Its not really a virus so much as a nasty executable.

Opius: Sick workplace. What's your job?

Oh, and one more thing Opius. Seeing as you know so much about emulation and all (e.g. from that other topic), would it be possible to emulate an N64 on the PSP? It can run at 333mhz and the N64 was less powerful than the PS1's 33mhz... so I am befuddled.

Off Topic: Anyone see BattleField 2 on PS2? Looks amazingly sweet, much better than Socom II even.

Harrrrr, so I put Toe Jam and Earl onto my PSP today, and spent the following 4.5 hours immersed in its funky awesomeness.
