TheDude5000
I made a few mods which put the Andromada back in the game. As all the experienced modders know, the Andromada has a ramp that can be lowered, but its collision file prevents you from entering the inside of the plane by the ramp. I also used camhack on the Home in the hills mission, and enabled free look during the Andromada interior cutscene. I zoomed out of the Andromadas interior, but that was all there was. Just an interior. No plane. So on the mission Stowaway, you dont actually drive up the ramp into the plane, you just drive on the ramp, and your spawned inside this interior, then you jump out. The following cutscene tricks you into thinking you just jumped out of a whole Andromada, but thats not true. Is there a way to edit the collision file to make the inside of the Andromada empty? And make the bottom of the plane fully solid? ***UPDATE*** I used cam hack on the stowaway mission, and apparently, there IS an Andromada with the fully modeled interior. The weird thing is, its like a new sort of blue hell. Theres just the plane, and all you can see is sky. Another world premiere discovery by the dude . It seems we have 2 Andromada's in SA. I can't test if the outside is solid, obviously, all I can do is look. The plane itself does not move, inside it shakes and you can hear its engines, but its actually in a fixed position in what I'll call the desert hell. Theres nothing but desert sky. Nipa
HOLY HELL! You read my mind! I was going to think about doing this, but we'll have to wait until steve-m releases CollEditor v2 (damn it.. stupid formats) but instead of making the inside empty, I thought of asking what's the andromada's interior files so I can stuff 'em in the actual andromada. I think you mean the Stowaway mission, not Home in the Hills! Nipa
TheDude5000
Cant wait for the new col editor. But I'm pretty sure the Andromada is also in Home In The Hills. In the beginning cutscene we see it leaving Las Venturas.
TheDude5000
First post updated with brand new Andromada discovery. Sorry for the double post, but you wont mind when you see what I found out, besides, this is the first time I've ever double posted here... Alick
Now that would be cool if you could actually get that model of the andromadas interior in to the drivable andromada.
TheDude5000
I'm sure it'll be possible. It'd take some .scm coding, but as I said I'm retired Also, I did some experiments with the Andromada. I recruited some peds into my gang using the recruit anyone cheat, got them in a stretch, and drove to one of the sets of 3 ramps at Las Venturas Airport's runway. Then I got the Andromada against the ramp, got the small gang to follow me onto the wing, and got them to stay on top of the Andromada. I then got inside the Andromada, and to my suprise, they didnt slide off when I was driving it. But as soon as I took off, they all flew off and died. I was looking for a new way to transport my gang members, but at least I have a new way to kill them. Also, I got a ped to stand still. I lowered the ramp on the Andromada and drove in reverse, hoping to contain the gang member inside the Andromada, knowing about the shoddy collision file work by R*. The ped was on the ramp, so I started lifting it, and the game engine just wouldnt have it, the Andromada started bouncing like nuts, and the dude just flew back. Also, I drove a quad onto the Andromada, hoping to find a new way to transport vehicles. It's kind of a good thing that the collision file for the Andromada has many holes, and theres one on top. I decided to stick the quad in there, thinking it wouldnt move. I started to drive the Andromada, and as soon as I took off, the quad started taking damage, and flew off. Getting peds into the bed of the Dumper was hard, cause their so damn stupid, but they almost always dont slide off the bed.
etniesfan
If the andromada is not moving and is just an interior in the sky with the andromada skin, it could be like LC you could find the point of the interior of the andromada with the map, find a way to get way up there and then hop inside sence it's not moving. Do you think it would work?
TheDude5000
This new Andromada is only in this mission, as far as I know. I think it could be an entirely new Andromada, not just an interior with a skin around it. I'm pretty sure you wont find it when your not on the mission. I also saved the coords for it. Update: I just transported to those coords from inside CJ's house. It's the hidden interior universe, so I cant see anything. But I can hear the Andromadas engines around me. NathanHenry
Well in order to get to the Andromada interior I think you will have to be in a certain Heaven to get there. Like for example one heaven is the secret blip heaven that is called Liberty Heaven and that heaven has a list of Hidden interiors you can go to in that heaven like Liberty City and the Shamal Interior and Woozie's and etc. so what I am saying is these hidden interiors are in different Heavens http://www.geocities.com/carpetdweller2000...wishlist01.html This page is a Heaven list. Just look up the Andromada Interior and try to find out how to get to that heaven and then teleport to the Andromada Interior and there you are. I hope you come out with a Andromada interior that would be really sweet. Just as a note just make an Andromada with its Interior and have it spawn at the start of the takeoff runway of Verdant Meadows or try to replace the Hanger in Verdant Meadows with the Las Venturas Airport Hanger (that contains the AT-400) and put the Andromada in that hanger. Nipa
Wait.. try and teleport to the coords in Cluckin' Bell! Since the halfloaded interior in home in the hills was in the Cluckin' Bell Heaven, maybe the fullloaded one is also in Cluckin' Bell Heaven.. but worst case: It's spawned by the scm!!! TheDude5000
I'm not entirely sure if its possible to give any Andromada that spawns a solid interior.

Does it have an enterable interior? Can you fly it? Is it solid?
adam schiller
Hey while I have no clue about the topic in response to ^ post Yea it is Flyable and Spawnable if You Use jacobs vehicle spawn tool and its called Androm number 592 hope it helps and you enter it oddly but still flys. oh and the interior isnt enterable Oh unless you mean the big one then I think I should Stfu lol Edited August 3, 2005 by adam schiller
Opius
The giant ugly version is a map object and cannot be flown. It's only used in Stowaway and even then only once you're onboard. The cargo bay you jump out of in Home In The Hills is generated by the mission script for that mission only. The smaller version of the Andromada is flyable and is the one you're chasing in Stowaway. TheDude5000
I'm an Andromada pro! Of course I mean the Andromada from the Stowaway mission, not the one MY mods spawn, or that can be spawned with the car spawner. EDIT: How the hell did he spawn it? Opius
It can't spawn map objects (at least to my knowledge) Chances are, Dicanio used the mission script to spawn it as an object or edited one of the IPL files to add it permenantly.

FedRebel
The interior model is about 4 times larger than the model in-game a real Jumbo jet It would be nice if the bigger one could completely replace the smaller one, it'd be far more realistic

MuT7
How bout extracting those models, and create/modify a new Andromeda? Im not a modder so i might be talknig gibberish....
DiCanio
Just checked out the model with Steve_M's Map Viewer then went hunting in the IPL & IDE files. The cut scene Andromeda has no COL file so this would be the first of many hurdles to overcome in order to put it in-game. The interior is all map objects placed together though they probably could be attached to the model by a skilled Modder - perhaps. ========== Angel Bulg This was my test IDE & IPL files - spawning at Los Santos airport at the far end of the runway. The angle needs altering, which isn't easy to do without a Moo Mapper CODE: objs #14548, cargo_test, ab_cargo_int, 50, 4 #14549, carge_barrels, ab_cargo_int, 40, 128 #14550, cargo_netting, ab_cargo_int, 100, 2097156 #14551, cargo_store, ab_cargo_int, 100, 0 #14552, cargo_stuff, ab_cargo_int, 100, 0 14553, androm_des_obj, ab_cargo_int, 299, 0 end tobj end path end 2dfx end anim end txdp end #= inst #14548, cargo_test, #14549, carge_barrels, #14550, cargo_netting, #14551, cargo_store, #14552, cargo_stuff, 14553, androm_des_obj, 0, 1549.599, -2638.998, 24.74064, 0, 0, 0, 1, -1 end cull end path end grge end enex end pick end cars end jump end tcyc end auzo end mult end =======================

TheDude5000
@Nipa: Good to see a stunter who doesnt bitch about modified files. @DiCanio: Hopefully when Steve_M's .col editor comes out, we can somehow edit the original Andromadas .col file to be as big as the cutscene Andromada, and carve out the inside.
