BenMillard Posted October 30, 2005 Share Posted October 30, 2005 I've sent MMMS a PM about playing that game. Loads of people play GTA2 via Sektor's excellent "GTA2 Game Hunter" program. It is like a special IRC client, where you can find players then join and create games easily. You can get it from Sektor's homepage. At the moment, version 1.458 beta is the most recent. This is so untrue, i would wish to create a new editor really, but two core parts of documentation of gta2 maps are incomplete: road networks and map compression, if you figure out those i will just adjust my map editor for my top down city game project and thats all work that it has to be put into a new editor, see screenshoot of my TDC map editor: basicly only those two things need to be figured out, i already have a working editing framework including undo / redo. feel free to discuss that with me on MSN: [email protected] edit: and i am also working on a gta2 multiplayer map currently, gta2 has a lot of network gameplay potentional. GTA 1/GTA London 1969: Absolute sh*t, you can't see where you're going, all missions are timed, no storyline, it makes me mad. GTA 2: Excellent! Driving is much easier, street gangs are cool, gameplay is just all around fun. Could do without the limited lives though. GTA 3: My favorite out of the series, fun gameplay, great story, awesome main character. A must have for any gamer. GTA Vice City: Alright, Tommy Vercetti is cool, story is sh*t, gameplay is often too glitchy to be fun. GTA San Andreas: sh*t story, sh*t main character, fun gameplay. GTA3 is the best, then GTA 2, San Andreas, Vice City, and the origional (haven't placed Liberty City Stories or Advanced yet) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
