GoldenLung Posted December 12, 2005 Share Posted December 12, 2005 Yea, I know I'm using the VERSION 2 saves, with no mods, using the USA version, and it STILL starts at the very beginning. I tried using the SnP, and when I downloaded the file, it said SAVE GAME CORRUPT. If anyone has any ideas or advice, my kittlings, now would be the time indeed. Much Love and thanks. I'm a 30 something mom and I love the GTA games and have been what I consider a gamer my whole life. I never (and I mean ever) just got stumped on a mission in a game to the point I did with the Flight School Mission. I started this mission in Feb of 2005 and was never able to beat it. I got discouraged and earlier this year just gave up on the game. I recently purchased the PC version in hopes of downloading a save game. Then I ran into all those V2 download issues with save games. However, this thread was so helpful I was able to download a saved game with Flight School complete and continue with my game play. I'm really happy and I want to thank you all , everyone who took the time to try things out, the person who uploaded the save games, the person who converted them, just everyone involved because I am now happy I can finish the game. I didnt want just a 100% complete, I wanted to just get past that mission, so thanks everyone here and over at Mission Help. CCJ Posted March 20, 2007 Share Posted March 20, 2007 Isn't there a mod to convert your game to version 1 so I can put my save game on. Then convert it back. I completed it 100% in like 2 weeks, saved it. - I then saved my file onto a disc and restarted my pc completely. Installed the game put the save file in the folder and now it has recognised the save but doesn't want to load it. What do I do? Once my tutorial is authorized by the staffs, view it, it'll help you I gurantee. Btw, nice work, my fast computer is still in repair so I had to make my game in low quality, and it always crashes during the missions, photo opporutnity since the camera zooms into the bad graphics I adjusted to, and for some odd reason(s), it crashes. You have not bought all the save houses and not completed the races also. also the trucking and quarry missions also. The ones in the first post of the topic don't work reliably, but the ones pdescobar posted work reliably I think. Just like Matt27689 isn't there any mod for version2? ins4n3 Posted December 16, 2007 Share Posted December 16, 2007 Version 2 is the re-release of the game after the hot-coffee fiasco. Basically to bring the ESRB rating down from 18+ to M. The ability to see animated sex is lost along with the ability to mod the game all together. And the saves here do not work with that version because the scripts file is different. - FiJiAn 4 LiFe but where says what version do you have?????????
