humbaba
I was checking out the map of available vehicles and saw one labeled "ghost car" in Back O' Beyond. I hadn't heard of this car and had visions of a glowing, green, ethereal car with a cackling skeleton behind the wheel (okay, that last part was an exaggeration of my expectations). Well, needless to say, you can imagine my disappointment when I went to the indicated location and saw a driverless, beat-up Glendale roll down a hill until it crashed into tree. LOL! Some damn "ghost car"! Though this was a minor disappointment, I wondered what the designers intended with this: were they really making a ghost car or was it just a case of them messing up the spawn location and having the Glendale roll down the hill as a result? The reason I ask is that this car is too lame to be intended as a paranormal vehicle.
WhiteBoy14
Yeah, I was disapointed too. But, prepare to be flamed by these jackasses who think there tough because they talk sh*t over the internet.
Chalkstar
The most common explaination you will get is that they messed up the spawn location.
E.A.B.
You Dumb, idiot, stupid ..... Nah, I'm just playing with you . The same thing happened to me. I wasn't dissapointed, I liked what I saw. Then I found out the car isn't really a ghost car but I don't care what anybody says, it's still moves and it is still a ghost car to me.

Mxyzptlk
There are more "ghost cars"? There's a "ghost vortex" north of boat school, and a ghost car in a driveway in Playa del Seville LS. If you mean junker cars, there are rundown glendales and sadlers all over SA.
C.JB
Yeah, I saw the Ghost Glendales before in Back O' Beyond, too. I thought they can drive on their own, and that was a long time ago. Edited August 25, 2005 by C.JB

«Phobos»
There is alot of "ghost cars " in the contry-side like vortex and gledales. Ghost cars are cars that are wrecked and there are 2 tips of them, the vortex and the glendale that i know. Ghost cars are stupid.
Dr. Stupid
Ghost cars are usually Glendales, and the most famous one is the Back-O-Beyond Glendale. They could be messed-up spawns, but that wouldn't explain why they're beat up to a point where you can't repair them...literally. There's also one in the parking lot of the Lil' Probe Inn, and I think one in a shed in the Panopticon. Some n00bs, conspiriacy theorists, and retards think that the BoB ghost car has something to do with Bigfoot, and tend to post "LIEK I SAW BIGFOOT IN BACK-O-BEYOND!!!!11!!" But that is false. That is all.

GTASan Andreas CJ Rules
i like the ghost cars but ghost cars arent realy just a beat up car (and its not wierd that they cant be healed theres sadler & then theres sadlsh*t. glendale & glensh*t there 2 diff cars) anyway the vortex has to be the best lookin ghost car (well its classed as helicopter). but about that magazine R* say that there ISNT a shark in SA but there is. its in the txds and dffs. very rare to see but its there. Bryce.
I was wondering if this ghost car was found...(Pics don't look that good ) Pic Location Thanks How on earth is that a "Ghost car"? That is just one of the cars that is damaged when ou find it. The bobcat and a few others can be found like that. They even have their own txds and dffs. Mainland Marauder
The famed "ghost car" as found in Back 'O Beyond is called as such because it spawns on the side of a hill and rolls down, creating the illusion that it is being driven without anyone in the car. The beat-up Glendales and Sadlers found everywhere are nothing but what they are. They're called "glensh*t.txd" and "sadlsh*t.txd" in the game files (with the i's intact and unfiltered), because Rockstar has a sense of humor. The only thing different about them is that if you take them to a Pay-N-Spray, they will still look beat-up. ...I left my broken-down, raggedy-looking 1986 Mazda 626 in an apartment complex with a "For Sale" sign on it, but I couldn't sell it as a "ghost car." Since SA hadn't come out yet, no one would've got the joke anyway. "You tell me exactly what you want, and I'll explain to you very carefully why it cannot be." Oddsock
To answer your question, that Glendale is old. I've been there a lot and seen it. -Cheeburger, Cheeburger!
The Mothership
To answer your question, that Glendale is old. I've been there a lot and seen it. -Cheeburger, Cheeburger! you know, there is a reason, why they are called the "ghost car", they all spawn with the same number plates across the state. it's freaky. the one opposite of the little probe inn even spawns with 50% engine damage. Oddsock
They are also called "ghost cars" because the REAL "ghost cars" are in the woods and roll down hills, like a ghost was driving them. -Cheeburger, Cheeburger!
