Kalegula
okay i was wondering how some functions would work. when i start my GTA SA and play singleplayer he use my handling.cfg, gta3.img and so on for all skns and informations about cars. that my pc know how fast a car can drive, or how my char looks. but how this works on the internet. when i host on a dedicated server a server with SA-MP witch informations he use then? because i would find it cool when someone use a selfmade skin and i can see them on the server when i play with him. but i can't realy imagine how this will work.... is a bit confusing... and the same thing i was wondering with the speed of cars and so on. do the SA-MP client download the informations about the modified files? would be realy cool if soeone can tell how this will work. Agret
The client should checksum your handling.cfg and compare it to the servers. If your handling.cfg is modified you will be unable to play. A suggestion to the dev team, backup the users handling.cfg and download the servers one like how you rename the main.scm when you replace it with your own. As for using your own skins: Don't count on it.
