Practice it a bit and you'll get it right. Thus, the directions for the 360 should be interpreted as hold "accelerate key", "brake key", and "steer right key".. um..when u said hold up and down key and right at the same time i cant do a 360 on the first driving school lesson my controls are acelerate: w reverse/brake:s left:a right:d Since you use different keymappings, the directions would translate to: hold w, s, and d. Boat school is not completely safe to do until after "Yay Ka Boom-Boom" since you will get 4 stars at the start of the "Land, Sea, and Air" test otherwise. Doing it after "Pier 69" is absolutely no different than doing it immediately after the phone call; I have no idea where that particular bit of common misinformation originated. In either case, you are allowed to swim to the marina and safely walk on the pier, and completing the school nullifies the stars so you can grab a reward boat and head home without problems. Bike school is also not completely safe to do until after "Yay Ka Boom-Boom" since you would otherwise have to get there, complete the tests, and then escape all with 4-stars. Dominioned Posted November 18, 2005 Share Posted November 18, 2005 please, any pc user help!!! Im having trouble with the first driving test (360) and I dont know why. I hold down W(accelerate) and S (brake) as told and it barely moves. The instruction to hold them down does not go away and when I tried to press right as stated in the guide, my computer beeps (whenever I try to press three keys or more at the same time) What should I do? But I don't have the PC version, hold Accelerate and brake together, then hold the key to turn left or right. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a glitch, though. Some keyboards won't process more than two "normal" keys being pressed at once. This topic suggests playing around with keymappings to fix it. If you can, try mapping one of the commands to shift/alt/control since the keyboard might be more forgiving if one of the keys is a modifier key. Another topic suggests changing the keymapping so that the keys aren't all next to each other, or mapping one of the commands to the right mouse button so you're only holding 2 keys at once plus a mouse button. I have shot everything I had to, in under 2 minutes, but it won't give me more than a score of 45. F'n pain in the ass mission. Also, do I NEED to do Driving school? quartet1977 Posted June 3, 2006 Share Posted June 3, 2006 destroy targets is tough. try using only the machine gun. it auto-aims so as long you get close to the vehicles you'll blow them up. driving school is not required, but if you finish it, you get four more missions to do. if you're playing on a pc, feel free to request an SnP at the mission help forum, and one of the helpers will do destroy targets and/or driving school for you.
