I am borrowing the money from my folks, so there are a few restrictions as well as NSW road laws.  Parental Restrictions  1. Must not date back past 1985, if it does must come from a dealer  2. Must be reliable  3. Must not be a 'Unfinished project'  Please, Ideas  I have thought of a skyline, or a commodore ss.. I want somethign I can use for legal drags... Erm, well you can pick up good older (VQ-VR) Holden Statesmans and Caprices with 5l V8's for around 5-10k. I reckon ther're a good buy, they're grunty, f*cking comfortable, look cool and have all the toys. Â Weren't you going to buy a green Valiant a while back, what happened to that? Seeing it's your first car, that's probably something you should be considering. Stay away from anything too old that you can't get parts for, some older Holdens, older Fords, etc. And stay the f*ck away from Honda, they're parts are f*cking expensive. avito coleone Posted July 21, 2005 Author Share Posted July 21, 2005 I sold the old charger ages ago. It was far too much for me to handle with rebuild costs. I wanted to customize it to the max to. I found this awesome sandman in Victoria (The state to be-If you a fag ) for 6 (interior is unfinished) and I am going to try and talk him down further then show dad what a great deal I can get!
