The save works but i found the problem. it's either you cannot die while driver is active (or alive ) or you just can't die or get busted. even with the save the moment i died and appeared at the hospital i couldn't call a driver. Check the map, that car icon should be displayed at his location. @91RS - Maybe you messed something else up. Try installing somebody's else mod if it works. Do you have some other mods installed? The only extra thing (besides car mods) that I use on my game is a trainer (for the car spawn) and I tried it without that in case that was the problem. DO NOT USE THE BLOWUP ALL CARS CHEAT!! It will leave those cutscene borders! 91RS Posted September 27, 2005 Share Posted September 27, 2005 I just tried the mod on another computer and it started up, but I didn't play with it any because this computer doesn't like the game very much (even though it's got a better video card). Do you think it could have sometime to do with too many carcols? I know that when I use GTASA: Ultimate Editor, when I click on a car it gives me an error message (that started happening after I added a few custom carcols for one of the cars I downloaded) but will keep on working fine. 91RS Posted September 28, 2005 Share Posted September 28, 2005 (edited) I know that the problem isn't with the DFFs or TXD, one reason is that I've had to put back together my GTA3.IMG file twice already due to it getting f*cked over twoce already by the IMG editors. I did check the Turismo since the main.scm calls for it right at the beginning. If there's a problem with a data line or the DFF or TXD, the game won't crash unless the car is called by a mission, trainer, etc. The thing I can't figure out, is that the other computer I tried it on, has car mods as well. EDIT: Well, I just deleted all the custom carcols, and no longer get any errors with the data lines in GTASA Ultimate Editor... and the game still crashes. I thought it may have something to do with main.scm limits, so I'm gonna try to release an updated version soon with some threads put together, if it is a limit issue. As soon as I loaded I got the Slamvan and have it take me to Paradiso. There I drowned myself with the driver dismissed. I could call him afterwards so that's fine. Then I went to Paradiso on the Huntley i went and drowned myself with him still being my driver and I could still call him. Then I tried to kill him and then drown myself and I could still call him. On my other save, though, i had been wasted and i could not call him ever again. I would press G Y and the car icon near the Wang Autos would flash and I went there and did the same and nothing. I would hold it and it didn't do anything. BUG: Stretch tries to take you to Jizzy and sometimes never stops. I did it from the hospital and i called the stretch. It headed to Jizzy's Pleasure Domes and once it got there it started going in circles by the sidewalk. I went and got a drink, came back and it was still going in circles. Err... 91RS Posted October 1, 2005 Share Posted October 1, 2005 I couldn't wait for the condenced SCM to see if it mightp/i] work on my computer, so I decided to play it at 640x480 (OUCH!!!!!!) on the other computer, and I must say it is f*cking FANTASTIC. I love the private jet, that so so damn awesome and then on top of that you get a cool limo driver after the flight! The backup car that follows is awesome too. Ok, if you go into drive by in the heli you'll lose the weapon you did it with. I had the Mini gun and I went there into explosive situation and when I left the chopper I didnt have it anymore. Next I did it with my M4 and I lost it too. Now I'm fighitng a bunch of FBI with a sawn off :-P My two guards are going better than me. D'oh. /Pavel/ Posted October 1, 2005 Author Share Posted October 1, 2005 (edited) Updated version released: Driver Mod 1.22 Changes in this version: Car Driver: -since some of you couldn't call the driver after wasted , now everytime you get wasted or busted driver gets dissmissed and you have to call another one. -I've found out that you couldn't call the driver after using Private Jet, so I've fixed that, too. Passenger Mod: - if you are in front passenger seat you can move to driver seat by pressing Handbrake button. Packer Mod: - if you are in Packer and there is a car attached to it, and if you move the back platform the car will move too, cuz in the previous version the platform just went through the car like it has no collision. NOTE: I still have to improve it coz it only works for one car attached to packer. New Mod: Sky Crane mod: -While flying Leviathan you can press Sub-mission key to engage helicopter magnet. Now you can attach any car to it, but since some cars cannot be lifted properly you can press Horn key any time you need a greater thrust. One more Leviathan spawn location has been added so that you can use it from the beginning (near Ls Airport exit). @Csnip3r & 91RS - You cannot remove rims from Private Jet Limo it only works if you call the driver, and press Aim and Look Behind button, before entering it. @Lethal.Ambition - Yea I new about that bug with removing wepon after turret mode, it's hardcoded, I'll try to fix it in next update. @zeta1 - Limo can't get to airport exit? Hm, It was working fine when I tried it. Well guess I'm gonna have to try it again. Yea, going to legend menu crashes the game, not sure why. That aint Hernandes, I just made it like a little cutscene when Tempeny kills a cop and sets the murder to Cj. But I didn't wonna release it I forgot to remove it . Or should I leave it there?
