I need to choose 9 stops (locations) for car driver in each town (Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas,but not Angel Pine, Bone County,etc, just those 3). Thing is that I was strugling, trying to make car driver just like heli driver, so that you can call him from anywhere, order him to go anywhere,etc and I've done it but still sometimes the driver doesn't want to listen and just goes str8, through everything. So here is what I'm gonna do: I'm gonna keep that trip around SA and add an ability to call the driver only if you are in one of those 3 towns, because he should drive normally there since the roads are mostly str8. But no biggy i have the source code !!! One thing we discussed before - keep the transfender rims on the cars as ive found a way (thanks to GreenGiant - gees that mans a genius) to correct the vehicles -1, 1 issue - that is the vehicles looking crap on transfender rims !! keep up the good work dude !!! Clicksie =) have a look at some screens, the cars go in the back but it can be pretty tricky to fly at times Since the heli pilot in driver mod seems to be quite a smooth pilot maybe it would work. Yeah, shouldn't be too hard. On a sidenote, its really hard to stay on the heli platforms in "free-mode", so I think you should either make them wider (just attached extra pads next to current ones ) or if you use the Chicknook (sp?) just put us on the ramp, OR for now, attach D9_RAMP to the back of the Maverick, tho I don't think it would do much good. I presume you are asking the author of the Chiknook for permission currently, he shouldn't mind. Love his Ducati <_< Anyhoows, I'm still interested in the mod, yeah, and about that thing I wanted to send you, seems like I'll be too lazy to finish it, so.. Bigun Posted August 30, 2005 Share Posted August 30, 2005 When Pavel uses the chinook, he can detect the car you are driving in and attach them to the heli. Same 'attach' as the pads are attached to the heli, and the car/heli wont do/get any damage. It also wont budge until it's unattached. But if I'm not wrong, the attach wears off if the 'master vehicle' (the one that can move) flips. Well, I guess it doesn't matter a lot since its realistic. Who does flips in helis anyway.. Pavel, so how 'bout a descend and ascend option in heli? Oh, and maybe you can make the hover 'toggable', one press to make the heli stop, one to continue (instead of holding it). You should start it from @0, especially in a thread in the MAIN area. Define ALL external scripts above external script AAA. AAA is a dummy script that serves no purpose.
