My call driver phones have no red marker on them either, and I can't call a driver. The private jet markers show up, but I can't buy a ticket. I can call the heli pilot like normal. Only one save game icon shows up at the ringmaster casino, which is the last property I purchased... I have gone through about 12 missions, including the russian shootout with Smoke - the install of 1.22 fixed that bug for me. After getting some cash from cabbie missions, and a couple 11:1 bets at the track, I flew around and bought all the properties that were available - maybe I screwed it up doing that. great job nonetheless! EDIT OK, after buying new weapons, some of the save game icons showed up, and I could use the private jet phones. No private car markers yet. Still playable, just strange... greddy5643 Posted December 31, 2005 Share Posted December 31, 2005 actually this mod is realistic it's purpose is for carl to have his own personal cheauffers, you know like most rich people have, as well as a personal jet that he doesn't have to fly. it fits more once you complete the game... before then it doesn't make much sense... if you'd rather carl be a normal law abiding citizen instead of the rich gang general he's supposed to be, then the taxi isn't a bad idea, why not a bus for that matter... i for one would like the idea, but only if it were added to the current mod, but it is asking a little much (i think i took that post too far, sorry) actually i like the bus... hows about it pavel? can it be done? yes... will it be done? maybe... (Let alone pointing out the route too somehow maybe like using touch-and-go points.. so this way he would have to choose a route that leads through all the points. that would be just awesome) -Also it would be cute, to be able to request police bikes or FBI cars to escort. -There could also be a possibility to make the driver to obey traffic signals. -The private jet thing is real tight! Maybe there could be an option in driver mode to make him take you straight to the jet (this way, you wouldn't have to get out of the luxorious limousine and walk to the payphone on your own foot like other normal people do ) -Helicopters/private jets could also request e.g. military escort for the trip, in more ..complicated circumstances -And finaly maybe it would be better, if when pointing out the location, the driver started with a usual city traffic speed, and it could be raised as needed. -Bug? *I noticed, that after playing for a while, and calling/dissmissing the driver a few times, the G+Y (call)combination jams. *When in passenger mode in one of the rear seats and pressing space, the game crashes. Maybe if someone can send a savegame from the version 1.22. Starting a new game make me crash. I tried a clean 1.00 version, a clean 1.01 version of San andreas... nothings work. Help someone?
