y hello thar.

 

will players retain the big red markers and/or health bars as seen in testing screenshots, or are these just for testing?

 

also, will players be visible as blips on the radar or will you have to see someone to know they're there?

They'll have health bars and name tags, but not the big red markers. They were to help us find each other during the tests (when we didn't have radar blips). I would lose people just running around in that small parking lot shown in some of the first SA:MP screenshots.

 

People show on the radar at the moment, but this could change... again this is to help find each other while testing.

Maybe instead of disabling or enabling them yourselves, maybe you could make it an option for the server?

Yes that would be a great idea, like co-operative or deathmatch, you wouldnt want to know where they were in a deathmatch, but maybe in a co-opeartive you would.

Maybe it could be dynamic and change depending on the player number. If you have a low count show the blips but if the player count is deemed high enough (via a server setting?) then hide the blips.
