I just spawned a shark underwater and make CJ bleed, all using the MultiMod. It's not really a shark attack. It's just look like it.

Damn. lol.gif Would be cool if CJ could: Go to beach at dusk, step in pink marker, launch "The Great White Scare" and save swimmers from being attacked. PEDS watch from waters edge. The shark moves fast but if CJ is quick enough with a blade (knife, sword) - striking until its "PERSUADED" progress bar is empty, he can deter it from returning to the beach. Mission playable every weekend. If a game-time month goes by and CJ hasn't persuaded the shark to stay away, he gets a phonecall reminder from the Coastguard. Every shark persuaded to stay away has a reward of $25,000. Maybe a new "Special" diving outfit can be part of the reward? (not sure if we can have more special outfits than the current?) Just some ideas.

 

The only part of the Driver Mod I was able to borrow for my personal game was the Heli Driver portion. Still, there is a problem with a var out of range and I'm not sure what to do with the code when it calls script (CARDRIVER) - I temporarily changed it to itself (HELIDRIVER). lol.gif I am still learning. Advice please?

 

Btw, I have not been able to get your MultiMod to work. I tried the keypresses in the README and others but no worky. Am I overlooking something stupid?

Spaceeinstein, within the "Vehicle Guns" mod, located in the "Mod Shop" of your mod, could you please change the button used to bring out the guns, & the button used to fire them??? Currently, they are set to utilize the "NEXT RADIO STATION" & "PREVIOUS RADIO STATION" buttons. It's slightly annoying whenever I need to blow some fool off the road, and my current radio station changes at the same time, as a result of firing my vehicle guns...

 

I was just riding around San Andreas, trying to think of a better configuration, based upon which buttons I have free, as opposed to which buttons are already used for more important things, such as vigilante & taxi missions, nitros, etc., ...and the best possible configuration I could come up with, would be for the "HORN" button to bring up the guns, while the "TRIP SKIP" button would be used to fire them.

 

...Just a MINOR issue, not really THAT important, but thanks for your time, & keep up the good work. music.gif

Thanks. If I recall correctly, CJ can take out his knife while swimming. If it's not possible to code the ability for him to swing it around, how about the mission is played close to the shoreline - up to CJ's waist/chest perhaps? Shooting it should prove useless, better if it has to get up close and personal. (is more scary) How does this sound?

Nice mod man.

 

But I have a problem: I enabled the petrol mod, and all the petrol stations at Las Venturas seems not to work. I stop the car in them and nothing happens. I have not tried all the petrol stations yet, but the petrol station nears the train station at San Fierro works well.

 

Anyone else have the same problem?

i realized that the hot coffee mod doesn't work, It's just crashes my game when i say yes to go in for some "coffee"

Hello, this mod is great but, it crashes the game alot, when i have a call in game, i pressed the action key to attend the call, but there happened nothing, and i cant see saving disk neither red marker, plus, when you get back do, nines and akes, your game hangs at cutscene when at smoke's home..

Yes, as I posted previously, I have been having this same problem with version 2.8 specifically. Super CJ worked fine for me in 2.7, and in all other previous versions of this mod (which proves that I DO know what I'm doing, usually), but for some reason, I just can't get it to work in version 2.8

At first, I thought maybe this was somehow being caused by one of the many other mods I have installed in my game (which would be weird, considering that this mod usually works fine with other mods installed)... So I tried installing 2.8 over a fresh, un-modded copy of the game, but still no luck...

At any rate... matts417, I hope you'll have better luck than I had at getting a response to this concern, and I thank you for posting, because at least NOW I have valid confirmation that I'm not the only person having this problem. So instead of tinkering around with my system any further, I'll just sit back & wait to see if it's fixed in the next release, since I'm completely out of ideas.

I used to play the xbox version, but right now I play the PC version, because more mods seem MADE for the PC version, and it's easier to install them, without having to convert, FTP, & test, etc... I usually don't experience crashes though, unless they're caused by another app running on my PC. I was just trying to figure out what happened to my Super CJ powers, that's all. By the way, even though I play the PC version, I am currently using an Xbox controller, thanks to information I found at

I found this to be pretty convenient, since I'm used to the Xbox controller. Mapping the controller buttons from within the XBCD setup utility, and also within the game menu, actually took longer than modding the hardware, but eventually, I got it all mapped-out to play just like the Xbox version of the game, in terms of the controls. Sorry for being off the subject, but I just thought about all of this once I was asked which OS I play on. So back to the subject: is anyone else having problems using Super CJ in version 2.8 of this all-in-one??? Does it work on the Xbox version?

You can only refuel at gas stations. I don't really want to emphasize the petrol mod because it is a pretty pointless mod. Cars can be "washed" at Pay n Sprays, as always.

hey space do me a favor? make the helicoptors stronger. they cant lift vehicles to easy. can you make it to where they just blast off the ground? OH and can you help me with the drive thru airport? im tryin to fly my car to sf but i cant.is there a time that i can do this and cant? when you get a moment an answer would be nice. thanks

Thanks Space... My Super CJ abilities work fine now, and 2.8 is the best mod ever. It was indeed my "subtitles" setting causing the problem. Once I got it working, I tried to see if I could take off & fly, then pause the game & turn subtitles off while still flying, but when you unpause the game, CJ just drops to the ground, flat on his face. Subtitles MUST be enabled. I remember recently posting that in previous versions of the all-in-one, I experienced SOME problems with the Super CJ not working until a certain point in the story-line (in the boonies, doing missions for "The Truth")... But now I stand corrected. As it turns out: that just happened to be the part of the game where I got board, & paused the game, and started tinkering around with my settings (including "subtitles")...

So the lesson learned is:

The Super CJ mod's tendency to work, or not work, has absolutely NOTHING to do with how far you are progressed in the story-line, but rather... whether or not you have subtitles enabled from within your settings... Haha, this has been driving me CRAZY with v2.8, and I can't believe it was something so simple all along. Perhaps there should be something mentioned in the readme, which STATES that the subtitles must be on, in order to use Super CJ... OR... perhaps it could somehow be fixed, so that this is not necessary, and the mod would work with subtitles on OR off.

 

So ANYway, all this got me to thinking... Based upon my previous erroneous assumption that Super CJ had something to do with the storyline... What if it DID??? Wouldn't it be cool? ...If there were somehow a way to incorporate it into the story-line??? Follow me for a second...

 

When you first start the game, you can go home to CJ's house, & go to the mod shop, & enable Super CJ... BUT... you don't start with all of your Super powers... Instead, you learn & discover more of Super CJ's abilities throughout various points in the game, as you collect those glowing green Krytonian crystal shards (like the one Christopher Reeve used to create his "Ice-Palace-Fortress-Base-Thingy" in the movies. Each Krystal you find, will reveal a certain power (the ability to push cars, the the ability to fling cars, then to fly, then to do the easy take-off, etc., as a PROGRESSION, you see)? The Krystals you find, will contain messages from your parents (Superman's father Jor-El, &/or Superman's mother; or better yet: CJ's mother). These messages would actually apear on the screen as text, explaining the use of your new power, whenever you collect a Krystal... That's just my imagination running wild... Wishful thinking.

 

Again, 2.8 rocks! But I'm not going to play through the rest of it seriously though. I'll just run around, cause mayhem, and shoot pool in the bars, while I wait fot 2.9 (which is when I'll probably seriously do all of the missions)... Thanks, & keep up the good work.

My bad for being over-verbose. My previous idea ^^ was a bit extreme, kinda dorky, and too stretched-out. So I thought of a simpler version, in which you collect only one krystal, and it gives you all of your powers, and you only get one text message from your parent, when you collect it. It would be added to the Sub-Mission Skipper, and appear down in the drainage canal, near the spray can, the camera, gun, & molotov. From then on, PLPynton's Super CJ would be fully unleashed (yet still able to be toggled on/off from the Mod Shop)..

I don't like it when things are locked for you to unlock it. That's why almost everything in my mod is available at the start. The Chop Shop is the most that I would lock.

 

News for v2.9:

Energy bar gone except when using impact time

SuperCJ improved, no more weird camera effect when teleporting
