LVS's first pictures of the LVS mod!

So what you guys are basically doing is your putting Vice City, Liberty City, and San Andreas in one map but both Vice City and Liberty City are gonna have all of SA stuff like the SA Peds, SA Cars, SA Bikes, SA Boats, SA Helicopters, SA Planes, SA Gangs, SA Graphics, SA Font, and alot more SA stuff.

 

Well that would make Liberty City and Vice City more advance and alot cooler.

 

Just as a Suggestion you guys should position Liberty City in the same exact position that the mission Saint Mark's Bistro positioned Liberty City when you had to fly out to the oceans to get to Liberty City and Vice City should be positioned north of Liberty City and Las Venturas because the Las Venturas has a great runway that can go straight to Vice City and Liberty City has two runways one straight and one to the right and the straight one leads to Las Venturas and the right one can lead to Vice City.

To add on to your statement, I think the ultimate Liberty City would include the upper part of Shoreside Vale as seen in Liberty City Stories, but since we don't know what it looks like, it would be pretty hard.

 

Judging by the release date of this mod, LCS releases in fall 2005 and this mod should be out in 2006, so someone has time to play LCS and check out the rest of Shoreside Vale and then add it into LVS.

actually Natedogg the LVS team should just do the LVS total conversion mod normally and when GTA:LCS comes out they can do the upper part of Shoreside Vale and the Mafia Casino in Saint Mark's and Paulie's Revue Bar and so on in there Beta 2 Version but for now just getting the LVS out is what they should look forward to.

i still don't know why should the release date be 2006 (5 months from now) - in theory, all you do is copy the IPLs, isn't it? or do you also have to convert the DFFs? if so, write a program that converts all DFF's with the same name, then copy the IPLs, then do the rest of the work that can't be

automated like adding the ambient sounds and non-script-related parked cars into the IPLs.

 

if i'm wrong, then please tell me why. smile.gif if i know what to do i might even be able to help.

Well you have to test it for bugs, random crashes, and any particular errors that could occur when your playing.

Yeah very long time to go.. By that time, i fear my interest on gta won't be within me. But anyway, keep it up. I sense this got to be the best mod ever. With missions and some new cars? objects? That's really humongous MOD. biggrin.gif

GTA:SA DUDE

This Mod will probably only be able on the PC version of SA (Well SA, LC, VC lol tounge.gif)

Because the XBox In my opinion is not big enough to hold space of 3 games in 1, Correct me If I'm wrong?

yeah. Gta 2 was still the bery best as compare to all the others 3 gta series.

Oh and i do hope the mod working on LVS will be realease it up to date and hopefully no delay for the beta version. have a cookie.gif

well, i guessed you need to fiddle with the ipl's, otherwise it would be just a question of ctrl+c. biggrin.gif

but if you don't have a program for converting dffs and txds already, then how are you doing it?

How come those pictures are still up? and if you where planning to do this and know about these forums, how come you never checked the maps section in editing (well.. obveously some-one did but..), where these pics were posted a few days before this topic was even made?

Nice work. Whatever happened to that mod called Super theft auto or something like that. They had the same concept. You guys will probably beat em in the long run.

Uhm, you would be time travelling if you're going from SA to VC...

No because cars from san andreas will be spawned and droven by peds. Im sure the mod will be made to give it the same feel as san andreas. Same peds, same cars and same weapons. All of san andreas features will be in there biggrin.gif

can you use peds from VC and III too?

He already said same peds. If you use peds from Vice City it will be strange because it was set in the 80s. That's why same peds.
