Anyway, I love BG. Is there any site that will tell you how much honor is needed for each rank?

It tells you all the list of ranks in a book called 'Military Ranks of the Horde & Alliance'

 

It's sold by Sergeant Ba'sha, the Accessories Quartermaster in Origammar. He/she is outside the Officers Hall thing in Origammar. Good luck finding him/her

Just tried killing Azuregos with a full raid group. We got wiped the first time, now alliance are gunna get wiped, then we move in again. I will post if we kill her or not...

I cant really say if it takes longer or not, but its so damn boring it sure feels like it.

 

Just do instances of your lvl...They are amazing exp, 1 hour run to RFD usually gets me over 20k exp and 35k rested.

Grinding is horrible, trust me, I got to lvl 40 with just quests and instances, also made all my money from there.

I think ill do the Instances, right now i just keep getting crappy quests to travel all over for nothing. Not floating my boat thats for sure.

Grinding is only terrible if you suck at it.

 

I can open iTunes, and grind for 3-4 hours easy granted I have nothing to do.

Rofl. Try Kazzak next. He hangs around in the Blasted Lands.. Some Alliance guild on some server pulled him into Stormwind Keep... You only have 3 minutes to kill him in, and if anyone dies, he regens some health. After 3 minutes is up, he spams AoE Shadowbolt. Like, 100 at each person or somethin'. He owned all of Stormwind. Including Fordragon. Gotta love outdoor bosses that don't have heaps of other wankers between you and them.

Damn that was the most awesome thing I have experienced in a game.

That's exactly what I thought the first time I was in a big raid. Even now when I pvp my pulse jumps up a few notches. Nice to see you got to level 40 quickly .

 

Here's a screen from a recent Alterac Valley battle. It's a great feeling when you see this (for Horde anyway ) because you know your gettin plenty of HK and faction.

 

The servers shutdown a bit early this morning, I guess the patch is finally being released. I dunno if anyone will respond by the time they are back up but where do you guys get your patches from? If you have tried downloading from Blizzard I'm sure you know why I ask.

Now. I'll ask again hehe. Where do you download your game patches from? This patch is gonna be huge and it will take till the next patch is released if I try to download it from Blizz.

Well, I know how that works but I don't know why it's such a bitch for me to get it from Blizz.

 

I'll be downloading at 10k (horrible in itself) and then it will drop to 0k for like 2 minutes then go back up for 30 seconds. Ridiculous for a patch that will probably be at least 90MB. Should take less than 5 minutes to get with my connection but using Blizz's p2p client it could take until tomorrow!

Is there going to be a Arathi Basin Battlemaster? Cos i dont know were stranglethorn is, well i do, but ive forgotten and i cant look on the map cos the game is down.

 

Edit: Nvm, just actualy read and its in Arathi Highlands, never been there still but i dont know were i got stranglethorn from. But still, will there be a battlemaster?

Ummm I think Arathi Basin is in Arathi Highlands. I know the instance entrances are. I think you talking about the new instance which is in Stranglethorn Vale. To get there just hop on the boat from ratchet and you'll be there. Booty Bay is where the boat docks, which is in Stranglethorn.

lol, as if the hunter pets could take a Doomguard. It costs to train your pet, and only a specifically trained pets could take out a Doomguard. A warrior have difficulty against one of them. Plus the control over them doesn't last that long anyway...

 

Edit: Patch is taking so long to download... 22% and it's still trying to calculate how long it's got left.

warlocks know how good a doomguard is.

The only way someone would really abuse it is to keep their fire ever pet, because the amount of training points one could gain would be enough to buy all of the possible things. I'm gonna go back and level my like level 29 pet(that I've had, and kept from the beginning) back up for this reason alone.

Rofl, some hunter chick from Greymane said her pet took on a rogue, a warrior and a shaman at the same time and outlasted two of them. This was in BG btw.. New pets even beat Feral druids, so funny.

 

And ZOMG HUMANOID SLAYING. I need another lvl to get Aimed Shot back though. Pity about the Mortal Shots nerf. 50% crit chance down to 30%.

Im re-installing WoW. I had some troubles with it after i installed the patch. My char would load, then the computer would freeze for say 10-15 secs, then it would play again for maybe 5 secs. It would do this about 5 times then it would disconnect me from the server.

 

BUT, it would let me make a brand new char from scratch and work fine.

oh man, Arathi Basin rocks the f*ck out. Definately the best Battleground.
