Speaking of patch, god damn i'm not looking towards it. I bought +25 agi on my weapon and right now it gives me 50 ranged attack power (NE hunter). After patch it will give me 25 rap... so much for all that gold I spent

 

Oh well, I'll just respec to BIGREDHUNTER+BIGREDKITTY (41/5/5)

note: the character copies to PTR are up finally, took them a while to fix it, transfered my hunter and downloading test thing now, really looking forward to BM specand to arena groups.

I put the 25 agi on my aging Ice Barbed Spear. I dont think I'll get an new mainhand weapon, because all the warriors in my guild will out-bid me on Zin'rokh, Destroyer of Worlds... and all the rogues will out-bid me on The Twin Blades of Hakkari... sooo it will be a while before I get a new mainhand weapon.

 

And after the patch, the attack power I get from my Ice Barbed Spear will go down to just 46 instead of 92 I get now. Which makes me sad.

 

 

This weekend we downed Baron Geddon and Shazzrah, which is guild's first. I also spent most of my DKP and got Giantstalker's Gloves and Pants

Yeah i hear you, i put +25 on my DotW and now it's getting nerfed, but don't worry you 'll replace that very soon, i saw some gloveos drop from the second boss in hellfire citadel - rampants which are beter than vek'lor's gloves of devastation. sad sad, buy he whatever it is, i'm thinking if i should try to complete my DS set or just say screw it since i'm going to replace it really early in BC anyways

I got to level 40 last night and bought my mount. Cleaned me out, im broke now! But got a lot of auctions on so I hope they all sell. Damn Pallys and Locks get their mounts for free!

Mods are all incomplete and can't even be loaded. I only used one actionbar mod, but without it its become a huge pain in the ass to play. I'm using a new one though, but still need to get use to it.

 

none the less, it seems like tons of sh*t got nerfed. I respec'd the same, perhaps even better as a shadow priest, and now I do LESS damage. I use to get 950 - 1000 on non crits, now I'm only hitting at 750 - 800 tops. Criting over 1000 though, but still lower. And I die so fast now. Before I could stay alive for long periods while being attacked, now I'll shield myself and be dead in 3 seconds. Seems like sh*t is way off to me.

 

On top of all that, new honor system is a bitch to read and blizzards retarded patch stole 3 bank slots from me and the bags that filled them. So I'm out something like 20 G for the damn respec I didn't want nor needed and the bags and slots that vanished into thin air.

I like the new patch, I'm halfway though a 14 day trial and I love WoW. I've got a level 8 or 9 Human Warrior called Brutux in the Oceanic server Aman' thul (sp) Does anyone want to help me try and kill Hogger? cause I cna't find him and I'm pretty sh*t at it

You should only have to download the 500Mb "Before the storm" patch or maybe just buy burning crusade (That is the Expansion pack right?)

Depends on how far back he is, most probably he will have to go patch by patch due to the way blizzard patches, and what gets changed each patch. When a change happens the TOC files are updated in the wow files, so the next patch checks to make sure its patching the right version.

 

I know blizzard did release some batch patches, which updated from anything to specific versions, I don't know if they have done one for 2.0.1 though, if they have it should be on http://wow.filefront.com

I got the Base no patch 14 day trail one and I have had to download 2 patches, The 1.2.5879 or whatever it is and the 2.1.0 "before the storm" one

That patch includes the new honor system and new talent trees. Rogues got merphed and it wasnt good.

 

You can also see the instance to Outlands, and the boat that takes you to where the Drenii start. Burning Crusade is only a month away yipee!

Yeah I was thinking that, the Expansion has always been a possible re-entry into the game so might wait til the Expansion.

The patch 2.0.1's the last patch for vanilla WoW until the Burning Crusade, which is like a month away. ( I can hardly wait <3 )

US$15 dollars a month, I was wondering weather to buy or not too, but just so you know It can get boring around level 7-10 as the quests require you to walk everywhere and try level 8 after an hour
