dirtycopVCPD
Now that they're doing Liberty, I was wondering is Vice City next? Is R* restarting the trilogy on the portable? What do you all think?
choke the chicken
i actually think they might do that. mabye if they made a remake of vice you'd play as diaz around the 1970s ans see how he came to power.
Ben Fleming
Argh, if you played as Diaz, I wouldn't buy... I hate the fat prick.

MOBMAN
I'd rather them do a new city next time.
Joey.Leone
I'd rather them do a new city next time. They are talking about restarting the old trilogy in portable mode, not the new GTA, that will be a completey new city.
Hope
Well, Rockstar Leeds, Rockstar North and the other production companies will probably decide if they want to do Vice on PSP based on the sales and a number of other factors. But, who knows maybe they don't want to do a trilogy on the PSP.
Sefuwl
Or play as Lance Vance Dance...
chris82
Yes, Vice could also fit on the UMD, but as for a portable SA...no. Unless you had waaayyy less cars, peds, radio, etc... I'd like to play as Rosenburg or Kent Paul.

K^2
He might have just meant the general idea of it, a GTA set in not-so-distant-future, which might work pretty well. chopper123
that would be cool if they remade gta sa also.
-NeMo-
I would LOVE the idea of that! I mean ok it would be pretty lazy of Rockstar just to redo the cities. But I mean Vice was my favorite game ever, it would be great to return there in another time period with a completely different storyline, explaining some more. saintdave
I think it will depend on how LCS does with customers and how R* thinks of it when it's finished.
MOBMAN
GTA 2 was a great game and introduced alot of the humour found in the 3D GTAs.So I think a proper remake(meaning in "3D") would be great.
gangsta_gunna
San Andreas might be too big for a UMD but what about Liberty and Vice in one game. You could take a plane in between the two cities. I don't know if it would fit though.
K^2
With right compression, and using just one set of radio stations, I think it might fit. However, I would much rather see a PC mod for SA that would put LC and VC in. Edit: Yes, I know, that wouldn't have anything to do with PSP. But do you really need more than one city on the go? SMG
San Andreas might not fit on a UMD, but they could have something like Los Santos Stories. Or possibly eliminate country areas of SA and just cut between cities. Or have to install some of the map on a SD Card. Or have the game spread over multiple UMDs. Pyrrhus
You guys are forgetting that the PSP has a much smaller screen than the average TV so the developers can get away with using lower resolution textures in their games so I don't think that it'd be impossible to do San Andreas on the PSP. As for the topic, it could be possible that a Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories will be made depending on the sales figures for LCS among other factors. MOBMAN
Having just a Los Santos story would suck on so many levels it's not even funny.First it wouldn't make sence sine Los Santos is land bound and second,I'd rather have San Fierro personally. So I think after LCS they need to do something original. In the next few years the guys at R* WILL develop amaizin tecniques to fit loads of stuff on!! So i cant Wait or SA on the PsP!
pizza guy
They are only doing Liberty City Stories as a spinoff, same as they did GTA: Advance for Gameboy. Rockstar are taking a break from making GTA games after this one. They even admitted to that after San Andreas was complete. The next likely game that'll be seen will be GTA 4 on PS3. Grand Theft Ultra As good as that sounds, you may want to know that the only TCs that got off the ground for the prior GTA series were communitty projects, meaning that anyone and his brother could contribute. Not the work of a specific mod team. That looks to me like GTA: WO did with Vice City.
Brown Streak RR
Personally, I think there will be no other GTA game, after LCS, for the PSP handheld. Their main focus is on console games, and they're going to need to start working on the next GTA for the PS3. So I doubt another GTA game will appear on the PSP in the near future. In my opinion. They just don't have the need too. I'd rather see a cool console game rather than another handheld.
B-Dupp
personnaly i already think they have started on the next gta for the ps3.because it took them about 3 years to make gta SA. if they havent then we could be waiting for another 3-4 years at least i think. About further GTA psp projects from R* i think they will do another one depending on the succes of Gta LCS.(obviously it will be the best game for the PSP). So they could get R* leeds to work on another one (gta for the psp) in the next year or 2, and leave gta4 to another R* headquaters to work on like R* north!!(i hope)
Pierce Brosnan
I don't think this will happen, someone posted in VC chat that Ray (voice of Tommy) would not have done the voice of Tommy if he knew about the nature of the game. So I don't think he'll be doing anymore GTA games if this is true, so... I don't think there will be another VC game, or at least not Tommy appearing. GTA: LCS is being developed by Rockstar Leeds and not Rockstar North, so GTA4 might already be in development.
