I read your instructions in the readme but I try to unlock a car by holding Exit/enter for a long time and it doesn't work. Also locking the car from within doesn't do anything.

long time no hear..

thought I could give an idea. if this isn't new stuff nevermind the .. I only watch this thread so I don't know. I've done a thread for drivebys, it's in development phase but it's working. the idea is that you use a search opcode for random car(combined with the random chance to ensure not every freakin car), check if that car id is some of the rival gang cars(majestic and only in los santos), check if it has a driver, check if it has a passenger and then simply arm the passenger and make him do a driveby. if player is driving(with or without carnam thread from b2r=cleo) then you order driver to follow player while his mate is firing at the player. my problem is to set the driver to be glued to the car nervous.gif . anyways if you like the idea I can send a code, if you have a better solution I would be glad and very thankful if you could provide me a adress to that code.

Between 3.1 and 3.2 there have been massive changes in the key-combos, but nobody had time to update the readme to match b2r 3.2, so it is still the 3.1 readme which is provided.

 

I made the changes in the CREDITS section, Tomworld please review it to see if it is OK. Also made GERMAN readme, based on English version. French coming later.

Sorry, I couldn't get here for awhile - was extremely busy being run over by life and the many unexpected things that can happen. This is my first day back on here - just wanted to provide a quick update:

 

YES, work on B2R 4.0 continues. (just took a break for awhile)

YES, this project will be finished and released.

YES, I love GTASA and will probably always mod it.

 

Please allow me to point this out:

It is SO important that we are able to break certain limits and do so in a stable fashion. If I can not utilize the tools of others for this purpose, I need to change my approach and edit certain aspects of the original game to allow all this extra stuff in without flaws/bugs.

 

FACTS ABOUT B2R 4.0 & the UPCOMING RELEASE:

 

- Offers end-user customization without modding/coding

- Includes never-before-seen or released mods for GTASA

- Includes features seen in GTAIV (R* must've been snooping in my computer, damnit tounge.gif)

- Has cleaner, less-buggy code for the stock version of GTASA

- Has cleaner, less-buggy code for the mods included in B2R

- Will include a full manual/guide

- A few screenshots of B2R v4.0 were posted here (see my signature)

- A trailer will be posted here pre-release

- A BETA version may be released 1st (B2R v3.99) to be absolutely certain that v4.0 is 100% solid and stable.

 

FACTS ABOUT THE B2R PROJECT:

 

- An agreement must be made - an official Dev Team should be established. (no, I did not release v3.2 - that was Wesser - I have helped a little is all)

- B2R needs a web presence. (happy to provide one if needed)

- The project needs a repository for people to UPLOAD their mods for inclusion in B2R, their language files, their guides etc. (happy to provide this, too)

 

Above all, to keep this project alive and me from pulling out my hair, it needs organization!!

 

rebel_36 made (from scratch) some absolutely BEAUTIFUL rollerblades for CJ. I see tomworld10 and his friend recently sent me another pair of rollerblades too but I have not looked at them yet... will do. Looks like we'll have 2 pairs to choose from = cool! HUGE THANKS!!

 

When CJ rollerblades, he does some stunting; railslides, wallplants etc. However, I am still looking for some new custom animations for later releases.

There is something paradoxal here... "B2R needs" and "if needed"...

Well if you have a ready to fire B2R website then go on. But if you don't maybe you don't need to put more work on your shoulders, neither delaying v4. Get someone from the newly made team to do it.

Well we might not to compete with GTA garage, I konw B2R is big, but it might not need all this, a forum along the website should be far enough (or even right here in GTAforums B2R topic), the webmaster from the team could update the site if an awesome third party mod comes. I really don't think we need that, because this will only provide problems (people will upload unauthorized, copyrighted, useless things...) and not that much good things, further more we'll have to spend time moderating all this and all this time won't be spend upgrading the mod. For example so far (since the begining of B2R with cns) only 5 people sent new thing to add to B2R (me, Wesser, Midnightz, chlaguevuck, asanovic7), so I really don't think we need to bother with that. But that's my opinion, and since we're gonna have a B2R team, best will be to ask the team.

 

As chlaguevuck said, we might not need a proper B2R speedo right away. For the time being we could just add the CamHack link in a third party page on B2R website.

 

 

@asanovic7 : you're code looks good, and well made to fit with B2R other threads (carnam). I havn't tested it coz I'm too busy playing IV... We should be able to include it in next version.

 

 

@Toyota : Thanks for the support, and for being around.

Now you people will know that reading readmes help to not wasting time. Tirefix (it's the actual name of the feature) has been created FOR B2R BY B2R authors (back those time it was me only) two years ago...

i didnt try the new version of B2R(which wasnt on the first page!)

 

btw, just a suggestion, could u guys use the car wash mod and the car showroom mod. that would really add to the realism.

 

one last thing, if anyone does pay attention to my replies, how is it that i earn so much money by just a few credit cards?

i mean i think u guys should make it so that the credit cards "rarely" drop from the dead people!

 

i even saw a hobo drop a credit card and i was like "wtf"?

 

and what about locking "most" of the cars on the road(which are being driven), so as to make the player either crack the vehicle or buy a new one?

I have to say GTA SA with this kind of mod beats all GTAs. And its teh kind of GTA that we wanted to have with GTA IV. Its a 3D modern day RPG. Its nuts:)

Hi,

 

Sorry, I have some problems with the mod.

I download the B2R mod at the first page and then I started a new game.

But I found that when I finished the mission "Cesar Vialoando" Cesar didn't make a phone call to me.

So I cannot continue to play with the story line.

Can anyone help me to solve this problem? Or the mod I have downloaded is not the most update one?

Yes, in fact the founder of the mod, cns, isn't around here anymore. That's why the version on the first page is very old. The latest version is the 3.2 and it can always be found in the signature of Midnightz and Tomworld10.

The phonecalls that don't work are a known bug.

 

To start a mission with the 'MISSION MASTER':

You can start a mission by holding down GROUP_CONTROL_BWD + CONVERSATION_NO on foot and VEHICLE_RADIO_STATION_DOWN + CONVERSATION_NO in a vehicle.

 

 

Then you simply choose the mission you want to play.

 

The latest README files (the one included with 3.2 is out of date too moto_whistle.gif ):

This is a known bug?

and some default weapon such as slient 9mm cannot find in the weapon shop anymore suicidal.gif
