Yeah, the game loads up now, but the only thing that appears is no player, no coords.

 

EDIT: Ok I fixed it. I have no idea how, but I have. I just ran it again, and it came on. Oh well, I better go get some coords.

herbie49: I appreciate the help but I need those coords with CJ inside the carwarsh, just like the way toyotahilux posted them. He also typed the coords for me too. icon14.gif Why? I need to be able to grab-n-go for coding.

 

Note: The diving locations are more of a priority than the carwash points. When you post more coords, keep them in the same post. (ex. use EDIT to update your carwash posts) Also, use a separate post for Diving coords. (don't want them mixed in with carwash stuff)

 

ATTENTION: I have made a custom graphical B2R speedometer based off of THIS MOD. I've changed the code a lot, used my own images, added a fuel gauge etc. - now working on the final touches. I can not find the original author name... confused.gif I don't know who to credit for the original/or ask permission from. Does ANYONE know who the original mod author is? mercie_blink.gif

Ok, I'll try get those coords later for the diving points, and maybe those 2 carwashes. But I can't get on the computer with San Andreas on at the minute, and my laptop is a little bit underpowered for it (VIA graphics tounge.gif) And I can't download the speedometer for some reason, the download page has a size of 0kb and a date of 01.01.1970. I have a speedometer that sounds similar, but I'm not sure if it's the right one.

Okay, thanks. Did you try downloading it? The mod I linked to above was made using a CLEO script. It was just a simple speedometer. It may've even been just example code on how to utilize CLEO - not sure. The included README.TXT has no author name, all it says is this:

I failed to find a screenshot of speedometer you are referred to, but probably you mean this one? Made by Hard aka Shalun, and Olegator

Ah yes, the second one that Seemann posted is the one I have. It's a CLEO script too.

WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR RE: DIVING LOCATIONS:

 

I need coordinates for:

 

1. Standing at the edge of ocean and (mostly) lake docks

2. High hills where one step off will fall great heights then land in water

3. Pools (diving boards)

 

...Start with the eastern coast of Flint County (where the hills are high) and look for an appealing spot. Then grab these two docks: Valle Ocultado, Fisher's Lagoon. Next get the Verona Beach dock and the dock south of Bayside Marina. Then try finding some ideal spots on bridges and by pools.

Why? Try to imagine diving competitions &/or jump bonuses (new missions and extras). When you cruise around SA, what looks like a great spot to run and jump off, fall a great distance and land in water unharmed? You're looking for cliffs and hills, standing on diving boards at pools or at the end of docks that are in the water.

The diving coords are very useful. Can't wait till the diving animations are in.

stan101: Thank you. I wasn't around before because of a very sick family member I was taking care of. Unfortunately, he died 4 weeks ago this Friday. I hope you can appreciate WHY I stopped working on B2R for awhile and WHY I might take breaks here or there = to heal. Btw, the diving stuff is in, it's the missions that aren't finished. I am working on B2R with a fury (nice distraction from the sadness). Providing all goes well, it will be CLEO based as much as possible.

 

The speedo is finished but I am having one problem I haven't yet solved... how to read RPMs? Does anyone know? Can anyone tell me how CamHack does it? I'm clueless... dontgetit.gif

UPDATE: I am learning how to work with CLEO because it's the next-gen in SA coding. I will begin converting most of B2R over to it shortly. This is a huge opportunity for us (for those who don't know) because it will not only give us tons of room but it will be 1,000 times easier to repair &/or further develop B2R's existing threads... AND add our own scripts without modifying the SCM (in most cases). Yes, I did A LOT of work on B2R and wrote/included some new mods you won't find anywhere else. I've no doubts that using CLEO will help me resolve the remaining problems once and for all.

 

Are you guys interested in teasers and sneak peeks of B2R v4.0?

I'm on dial-up net so I'm not posting pics unless I see some enthusiasm! tounge.gif

Yeah, I had to learn how easy it was to use (compared to writing for SCM) and how many ways it would benefit us to use it. However, there are things about it/elements to consider that clash with some aspects of B2R threads so yes, it DOES require some thinking/consideration and rewriting... or did you not realize that?
