hey great job on the mod tom, its great. i was just wondering if it is normal for the game to crash at random times while playing (just driving or walking around, ect.). it seems that i cannot get through more than 15 mins at a time without the game crashing.

Yeah that happens to me too, only it happens randomly after 1-2hr (so it wont happen often) but i thought it was just my computer.

 

@tomworld10: when you get to making the high 'n' drunk mod, could you also include crack? ive seen the txd and dff files, its in cutscene.img, thing is, you MIGHT have to use custom animations for it. OR just use the cigar one, its kinda the same,only with one hand though...

@tomworld10; I retract my last post. I've had some progress ripping out the parts I like and I'll continue to just keep working at it smile.gif Also I would like to take a look at your coding bible, I hope I'm not doing anything bad by recopying some of the stuff out of your .scm? (I'm only using it for me, not redistributing it)

(if anyone knows how to get the credcrd, inflype, markers, tirefix, carfire, and mapinit (and all of it's follwing threads (ie. petrol, lights, door lock etc.)) it would be much appriciated to get the source for it.)

 

Or at least someone who can rip these mods out correctly and put them in a normal main.scm O.o

No matter which way I do it, with and compiler; BW's or Sanny, and which ever sascm.ini, it doesn't work. I had it all working once with all but the tirefix once but the file somehow reverted to an old version, even though I copied it in several locations to avoid such a thing..

 

Tirefix only works standalone, with no other mods.. sometimes mapinit does the same thing..

 

Maybe I am just ignorant, and it's some type of DMA or other memory error? I double, tripple checked, all the code is fine, copiled numerous times with different configurations to the .ini

My question about the savegames (i think this is the only problem of the last release). Is it problem just to addnew savepoint where is CJ's house?

The save crashes wasfixed only by deleting the ATM credit cards code. Sadly, but there's still no save icon in CJ'shouse. cry.gif

Well you obviously created a new account so I don't find your actual last post so I don't know what you are retracting...

 

Anyway, first if you don't redistribute your work you can rip out what ever you want. There is no modder that will blame you for doing anything you want in YOUR HOME, with modding you are free at least in your home no one wants to get in your bedroom.....

 

Then I don't understand why you're asking for the source as the source is included in the zip file you have downloaded....And see that in the readme it's said that you have to use sascm.ini provided and Sanny Builder.

 

Finally tell us what you are trying to do because it's really hard to help you if we don't know where you need help.

 

And I ask you one question : Could you do it backward ? I mean instead of "ripping out" most B2R features in a "normal scm" why don't you "rip in" what you need from "normal scm". I think it would be far easier than what you trying to do, because my work is pretty messy and there is so many thing you can forget about...

No.

Further more, CJ throught the whole game story line fight against crack which one of the dirtiest drug. CJ will only be smoking some blunts, drinking some alcohol and that's it. Green buds are considered in some countries as soft drugs (even if no drugs could actualy be considered as soft) so CJ doesn't mind having a little blunt sometime. And CJ doens't want to do any other drugs.

And further more there isn't animations for any others drugs, the one you've seen ingame (crack and coca�ne) are in cutscene and so ain't usable because they're not "animations".

 

 

@Toyota : I don't have trouble loading the savegames that are saved with a modded game. Mod the game, save and load, there should be any troubles.

 

 

@onetidd : What you're asking is actually impossible. Why ? because you would have to do a big load of work and loose most of B2R features. Sorry

I actually have been able to put in the mods I wanted in with your smc and everything worked great.

 

The only problem I have is I would like to be able to play all the missions to have a "100%" game save, have all the spawn points essentially.

 

With you're mod I can play all the missions, but I think I'm always stuck as 0%. I tried to beat the last mission thinking that would do it, but the game crashed.

 

So I spent many many hours, about 113, trying to "rip" out the mods I wanted. (Almost everything besides the mission master mod.)

 

I realized that I couldn't get everything though, and I eventually got deep enough into understanding this specific mod to know that there was a limit to how much fit in the script, so you took out the main missions - ultimately getting rid of the ability to get 100% save - I think

 

Basically if you can get everything in the game to work just as a 100% save I would be happy, or some way to make it work, because I know that you can't have the standard missions codes in there, too much space

 

I usually get cluttered up with my words.. to the point where I talk much, people understand little. I hope that didn't happen again tounge.gif

Hey guys...im new around here but just to let u guys know i loved this MOD but one thing is bothering me(sry for my english) the petrol runs out too damn fast.I dont know if Tom or anybody else is working on a new version or a new mod but if anyone knows how i can change the petrol consumption just let me know.

@pereiraBR, In the current version the cars are more economy, if you're talking about the v3.1 i don't know exactly for how much time the tanks gets empty. I edited once one of the versions and a full tank got empty for 32 min (around 24-25 in game hours). But don't forget that it's not realistic to drive only 30 min with full gas tank, but it's not realistic to drive 1 day too. rolleyes.gif Try the 3.1.

@N98b : The game shouldn't crash on last mission, if you want to get 100%, you have to do ALL missions (and jobs, and submissions etc....). Making the game "work just as a 100% save" is a hard long and fastidious work, I think you'd go faster just make CJ get what you want to get (what you want in the 100%), but having everything is just too much work ( I hope you understand what I'm telling you).

 

About the credit card sources, beside the fact that you can decompile the scm, and that the source file is include in txt file in the zip, the source has been send here (just as most of my creations, it's been release in the topic). If the ATM doesn't work I think you have done something wrong somewhere...

 

 

 

@andre_wj : I think the fastest way to get an 100% save is to make it yourself, just cheat a bit and get it.....

 

 

 

@pereiraBR : Thank you for your support. As BMWPower said, 3.1 is far more "economic" than previous versions, then as he explained you, it's not realistic to drive for 30 minutes of real time, but 30minutes "real time" is equal to 30 hours "ingame time" isn't realistic neither.... Within 30 minutes real time you have far enough time to change car/plane/boat or go to the nearest petrol station.... And don't forget that if you never go out of petrol (so never need to go to the petrol station) there is no point having the mod !!!!!

If you still want to make the car more "economic" you can find some clues here, and the petrol cheating device should be already included in v3.1, but as it's an hidden feature it's not told in the readme.... (press "No" and "previous radion station" both at the same time)

Sorry about all that Tom, the truth is, that right after I posted, like the next day, I realized that I was still gaining normal game completion percentage after completing missions and such. For the longest time I always thought that it wasn't possible to gain percentages.. that's why I always tried to strip parts out of the mod. Really stupid of me. For the longest time I haven't been able to enjoy the really awesome parts of this mod because of my ignorance... I felt really stupid.. but now I've added in the parts I wanted, like the hydra and rustler bomb mods and it works great. It crashes every once in a while and it's really sensitive, but that's perfectly understandable due to the complexity of the code. Well done Tom, CNS, and the rest of the guys who contributed to this script mod.

Wow, tomworld10 - this (v3.1) is one of my FAVORITE mods! Thank you for continuing development of it! I only wish there was a "Lite" version available for download because certain aspects of this mod are buggy (on my machine) or overkill, even.

 

Just a few things/questions...

 

- Mission Master (certain missions mess up my camera view) EDIT: Caused by SAAC (joypad app)

- Grotti Shop Auto (has wayyyy too many cars = way too much lag) EDIT: If YOU have this problem, PM me for code fix tomworld10 gave

- Zero's RC Shop (just freezes after selecting a vehicle) EDIT: Can't duplicate

- Map Open (would rather play as normal)

 

Not sure how to remove the ^above-mentioned. Can someone offer me the source WITH COMMENTS or even just provide a general idea/starting point?

About the open aeras it's easy to make it open only on the first "island" (change stat 181) , but after how would you make the rest open up ?

But you just cannot take off Mission Master and make it back to normal, mainly because of the main.scm size limit then because you don't even imagine how much work it is....

As far as I know there isn't any source with comment, simply because I've never had enough time to write them and because they wouldn't make always much sens...

Sure, the first problem was during "Wear Flowers In Your Hair". I began a new game, selected that mission and immediately the camera problem happened. Maybe it doesn't happen if I complete prior missions first? EDIT: SAAC causes this, not the MOD.

Can you please give me the edits (code) to either remove the Grotti's car dealership -OR- modify it down to only say... 5 cars? If not, how about a toggle switch ON/OFF for the entire thing? I can't even drive in that area without awful lag or a complete crash of the game. cryani.gif

Okay. Yeah, I noticed the GTA mod community lacks a mod syntax to follow when submitting mods. Or for source, something like...

 

 

FIND:0000 blah blah blahREPLACE WITH:0000 blah blah-OR-FIND:0000 blah blah blah blahhhhADD AFTER (or before):0000 BLahdeeBlahSAVE/COMPILE

 

 

This is something the community, particularly newbies would benefit greatly from - they'd learn more and faster, thereby broadening the amount of written mods and well written code. Consider me a newbie at modding GTA, however - I'm not a newbie when it comes to: php, js, java, html, css, xml, graphics and so on. Yet here, I feel lost quite a bit. biggrin.gif

The key combination seems to have no effect. Maybe it's just the wrong button(s)? If this works for you (or anyone else) please let me know and include the button(s) you pressed cuz it's not happening for me. EDIT: Aha, it DOES work! I have to press AND hold the (fire gun from car) button.

 

 

General suggestions:

 

- Fix/remove the speed display when driving as passenger, it's just a long string of numbers at the bottom of the screen. EDIT: Frequency- Happens on occasion, the rest of the time it's fine.

- Fix the passenger mod so that the slowing down function works. EDIT: Frequency- Happens only if you rapidly and repeatedly press slow down button.

- Allow the dodo to catch up to the plane for refueling.

 

 

Ideas:

 

- Call a car via cellphone (from anywhere) to be picked up as passenger.

- Add gas station attendants. (ex. the fellow w/blk bandana and coveralls)

- Add traffic to gas stations so you have to wait sometimes to get gas.

- CJ blows up if he takes out his flamethrower at a gas station.

 

 

Things to add maybe? (Would love to see these included!)

 

- Get High & Drunk

- Hidden Interiors Teleport EDIT: Or burglarized houses stay open.

- Add small speedometer/gas gauge thingy onscreen. Someone else in this thread posted a niiiice one, IMO.

- Make CJ sit (stupid but it makes me laugh = the point)

 

 

I don't know if any of my suggestions are possible but please let me know what you think. Btw, I really LOVE the drive-thru to order food and credit cards you added! If I can get a good start on learning how to write GTA mods, I will contribute here and anywhere I can.

You posted a lot so I'll answer you right away so it's done....

 

First switch to Sanny Builder, don't even think of doing otherwise... For many many resasons you should. If you have troubles decompiling then you are doing something wrong, Sanny Builder is good, very good....

 

 

About the camera problem, I think someone did told me about it a while ago but I tried tested it many time (nice mission, it's always a pleasure to play it again) and I never had any problems with it, it works perfectly for me. But tell me exactly what do you mean, what exactly the camera does ??? (screenshot would help)

 

About the config, you seem to had nearly the same config as me, an Athlon Xp 1700+ and same amount of RAM, but you have much much better graphics than me, so maybe the resolution is a bit violent for the config you have, but as yours and mine config get more and more rare everyday, we represent a very little part of user....

 

To disable it, the fastest is to use google, type grotti shop auto, and in the page you find the message with all the source code of the feature. What to have to quote out is :

 

004F: create_thread @GSHAUTO

 

quote out in Sanny and MB means only to add // at the begining of the line which make the game engine ignore the line. It does look like that :

 

//004F: create_thread @GSHAUTO

 

The thread is not created then, and so the feature won't be enabled.... As you said it's then set to OFF !!

 

About comments, well you know the best comments is the code itself !!!!!!!!!!! And beside it takes a lot of time, I'm sure you know that many times the code can't really be described by comments they would just don't make any sens at all. And again the best comment is the code itself...

I was a noob and at the begining I thought like you that comments would be needed but then I just understood that you just can't translate the code into a few words...

 

I'm not a n00b when it comes to: php, js, java, html, css, xml, graphics and so on.
If you really know well those languages mission coding should really be a piece of cake of you, for sure it's a pretty strict and tedious language but it's easy as hell compared to java for example.

Well you are probaly right it might be the the wrong buttons, sorry no time to look...

I've seen it happened but if you don't mess up too much with it should not happened again...

It does work, again, don't mess to much with it....

Why not but then it will make the refuelling with the hydra and the shamal pretty much impossible, and come on the dodo was fun in GTA III but in SA you have much more funny plane to "drive" !!!!!

 

 

 

- Make the Automobile Petrol more like the one in AkMod LITE v1.8 (it's simple, bug-free and all locations are marked on the map)
Well cns petrol mod (with some ideas from me) is simple, bug-free, and most locations are marked on the map (some are hidden but I you think about it it will seem obvious !!!), and that's whith what the mod mod began so there is NO WAY major changes will be done (again, read the topic you'll see that many major changes have been done).

That's on th to do list but we might be playing GTA IV before it really happens....

I REALLY LOVE that, you can't even imagine how much I love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, and it's not hard to do at all. That really really cool (well it's more explosive than cool litteraly but...), I really ashamed I didn't think about it myself before !!!! Added on the list, you get the credits.

I should make a counter to count how much people ask for this..... Do you (all of you) guys don't think I have (and many other people before me have) thought of it before you.... Don't you think we have been playing GTA III and VC without mods and been using (ingame, only ingame) some illegal (ingame, and in real life) drugs.... - Hidden Interiors Teleport
Well I admit sometimes I do get a bit over the hegde but don't you remember the name of the mod ???? Just to remained you it's really named Back to Reality !!!!!!!!! I think you understand now that the word teleport does disturb me !!!!!! Well futher more if I'm not against changing some hidden to showned interiors that would be a niccer way, but hidden interiors means buggy interiors and thats the biggest problem, then the other problem is the time I have, which is very low....

 

 

 

- Add small speedometer/gas gauge thingy onscreen. Someone else in this thread posted a niiiice one, IMO.
I do agree with you, as I said before, it's a very good idea, but again I don't have much time and there is so many thing I have to do before doing this.... Is on the list since a while...

 

 

 

- Make CJ sit (stupid but it makes me laugh = the point)
Again it's not bad, even if I'm sure there is much more funny things we can think off (and which ain't yet on the list) but again if you know a shop where I can buy some cheap time, like 1 to 2 bucks the hour, I'll have enough time.... 24h a day is way not enough for me !!!!!!

 

 

 

I don't know if any of my suggestions are possible but please let me know what you think.

@everyone :

 

If you have any question about the mod the readme is included in v3.1 and google DOES WORK QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY, just type the name of the mod's feature you want to know and maybe add GTA San Andreas and/or Back to Reality and/or CJ and/or B2R. Example :

- Grotti shop auto

- petrol mod gta san andreas back to reality

- credit cards GTA san andreas back to reality

 

Using "exact phrase" (just add " at the begining of the exact phrase and " at the end) will as well help you a lot.

 

But a search inside the Back to Reality (B2R) topic is always better (even if it's slower and just a little bit harder) or just a advanced google search within the gtaforums.com domain should be good enough.

 

By the way I will try to make the actual message releasing the feature of the mod (and then containing the source of the feature) easier to find for google.

Got Sanny Builder working *finally* - I think the problem before, was with a different mod file, not yours. Immediately, I can see why this builder is better. icon14.gif

 

I'm sure you know that many times the code can't really be described by comments they would just don't make any sens at all. And again the best comment is the code itself...

Camera Problem Symptoms: The camera gets locked halfway between sideview and forward view (at an angle) and the only way to stop this is to restart GTASA. EDIT: SAAC and not mod related

 

Grotti Lag/Crash: Ok, so on high end computers, this is not a problem huh? Yeah, my system is old but I am surprised at the graphics card's poor performance overall for GTASA. I have to run the game at nearly the lowest in-game settings to prevent lag-n-drag. Btw, I use @ 1024x768

Well cns petrol mod (with some ideas from me) is simple, bug-free, and most locations are marked on the map (some are hidden but I you think about it it will seem obvious !!!), and that's whith what the mod mod began so there is NO WAY major changes will be done (again, read the topic you'll see that many major changes have been done).

True but your version and CNS' version do not include a pink marker in front of the gas station pumps or a speedometer... yet? LOL I'm only teasing you, ya know. (Females are allowed to tease you! tounge.gif )

No animations needed. We could have a *suggestive* character just standing there at the pump. Consider this, you re-use the animation for CJ snacking with your "Cooking" aspect of this mod. Agreed. How about just access to the houses that can be burglarized without requiring the mission start?

The ideas are great! Especially the gas station ideas. Also i saw the idea about the speedometer.. and that Tom don't have much time for that, but here other things that would be good to see in the game - manual trasmission (i know about the PLPyton's code, but wheni try to change the gear the game crashes, i'll try it again, but...) and counter of the car kilometers. I always liked this in 'Mafia'. cool.gif

 

Also i'm now working on a little add-on to the mod. In SA by default the parked cars are not much, so for now i added around 70 parked cars in the whole game and i'll add 10-15 more, but don't worry, the cars are not so much and the game runs absolutely normal. smile.gif Don't forget that adding parked cars is the only thing i can do in a scm. I don't have much time to read the Tom's bibles, but soon i'll have and i hope then i can do something.

tomworld10: I understand your lack of time - I don't have much time for this stuff either. I will try to help you with it and add stuff too. Btw, the "Gas Station Mod" by RiZiNgdRaGoN is a GREAT companion to B2R. For those who don't know, it re-skins all gas stations into real world (Shell, Exxon etc.) ones plus extras. MORE IDEAS FOR B2R:

 

1. LS Auto Detailing Shop - Drive in, get paint enhancement (clean), interior enhanced (re-textured/skinned) and tires/wheels shiney (re-textured). Cost: $500. Duration of effect = the life of the car during a single game. Can not save it. (no permanent change)

2. CJ Shower - Borrow texture from police showers. Gameplay effect = same as changing clothes - peds stop saying he smells bad and start saying he smells good.

3. LS Ghetto Car Strip - Park in a "bad" area for too long and peds start stripping your car (affects modified cars only) of its wheels.

4. Drive-in Theatre - Is not abandoned at night. Movie is projected/playing on the screen (EDIT: <-- Can't be done apparently.) and a few cars are parked and occupied. Peds in those cars are having too much fun. (Use same animation as when CJ picks up a hooker = cars rock)

 

BMWPower: Thanks! biggrin.gif Yeah, the total distance CJ has traveled onscreen would be nice. That's why I like the speedo someone else in this topic posted cuz it includes that too. Manual tranny? It's a good idea but I can't drive a manual tranny IRL soooo... LOL tounge.gif More parked cars... sly.gif I think my computer would just say: "Alright, I give up." and never boot again. Yes, but for the kilometers counter - Also when you get in the car it is on random kilometers. When you get in x car it is on 32453 km (example) and when you get in other car the number to be random too. It will be good, in Mafia i always liked cars on less kilometers. biggrin.gifturn.gif

 

If somebody need a tachometer or speedometer textures i have many high quality pictures. tounge.gif

 

 

But for the reskining interior and wheels... i think it's impossible. The car interiors and wheels are textured with their own textures, so there will be no effect. rolleyes.gif

I'm not "fresh" enough right now to wirte any line of the bible, so I thought I could just have a little talk with you after a long night of having fun....

 

 

Differently as I usually do I won't answer "anti-chronological" (I don't remember the word right now in either language) to your question, it will just come as it comes to my mind....

 

I'm happy you Midnightz have finally switch to sanny, and got it working right.

 

I actually agreed with both of you that a gas station guys would be cool, even if it would make the petrol code more complex and then more possibly buggy, it would look nice.

 

But I'm sorry, but the petrol station in B2R, will never have a red (pinky) marker (circle) in it in the first place because cns hate them, and then in second place because YOU DON'T NEED A RED CIRCLE TO KNOW IF YOU ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO PUT PETROL IN YOUR CAR !!!!!!! and that's even more right when there is a map-icon (marker) on the map to tell you where is a gas station !!!!!

 

 

I don't mind at all having a red marker for things like the tailor bike shop (by the way if anyone got a better name for it, I won't be fussy) but there is no way it will have it on petrol station, it's already a miracle that you have on for ATMs, but it might not last very long...

 

About the speedo, as I said before it's a very good idea, but it's knid of hard to make it, and further more it will have to take a lot of time to make it right (if it's not good enough I prefer not to have it yet until I'm not sur it worth it -best examples of this are : the very good manual gearbox mod from PLPynton, the hang-glider from PLPynton with the superCJ mod and me [the "source" is here] , the weapon temperature mod from PLPynton....[i see that PLPynton is the only one here, but those are the features I really want for B2R...] ).

 

Hang on , but don't when you see th stats, since GTA III it counts the number of miles/kilometers you have done during the game ???? Because if the speedo exist, and like in real cars you have the numbers of miles/kilometers the car have done, right the under the needle of your speed, I'll tell you right now that the first time you get in a car this number will be on random...

 

 

About car parked, if it's not too un-realistic, I'm open to any proposal....

 

 

Reskins the gas sations... I'd say NO, the more we can use from R* is better !!!! And B2R is not a "realistic game" it's only a mod where you give Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas a realistic "taste"... But Give us the link here in the forum, and I have no trouble in adding the link in the readme... but there is no use to add it to the "ready to play" mod...

 

Retexturing anything means adding files to GTA3.img and such things, I know Back to Reality is getting closer and closer to a TC (Total Conversion), but that amputate the liberty of anyone to add and modify there own texture/mesh etc... We are here in the Mission Coding directory, vut further more the most we have to do to get a "taste" of reality is related to coding, and even if there is a absolutly needed meshing/texturing part (like hang-glider) it come after the coding part.... A good example is how, I made credit crads and ATMs work before... (the first version didn't use IPL and just created by the main.scm about 60 objects, wich made the game buggy)

 

 

 

About showers, from my point of view it's acutally very hard yo make something that looks good, even if we din't have to steal the piggys showers (most bathroom in Cj homes have something that's look like it) the real problem is and will be using right the particule fonctions (not posted part of the bible...)....It will be faster to ask DMA designs, sorry Rockstar games...

 

 

While talking about particules, to change CJ pee you can't only change texture, you will first have to change opcode parameters, then probaly sa.exe, and finally texture... I'm really not the personto talk about it but I really think changing all that will a=have the effect you want....

Thats "easy" and added on the list (the To Do List) but you can actually see that it already exist in orignal game because sometimes you car get just stolen (particulary if it's a nice one not "f*cked")....

4. Drive-in Theatre
I'm really really sorry but this is just not possible (notice that I usaully say everything is possible) because the engine can make a screen wich watch the player (you, CJ) but can't watch just anything... Like having a TV is nearly impossible. I really hope I'm wrong, but the only thing you can do is place a camera at some place and that will "look" where the player is - Sorry I don't have the link right here but "experienced" [overrated coder as they call themselves] knox what I'm talking about) And if there is no movie what's the point of make the cars rock ????

 

 

About GSA (Grand Shop Auto aka etc...) I'm sorry Midnightz, I told you worng because I didn't remember that I've change GSA (and bike shop) from a main section script to an external script to free up some space/room in the main section....

So if you want to disable it you have to look for something like this :

 

08A9: load_external_script 78 (GSA) 00D6: if  08AB: has_external_script_loaded 78 (GSA) 004D: jump_if_false @GSASTAR_11 0913: run_external_script 78  

 

And just quote out the GSASTAR create thread line... (PM me quick if you don't get it).

You should make this work with the "SRT3-Final" too! Cause I'd love the new graphics with GTA:BTR mod. It just gives an error, but so,... this is inpredictable. whatsthat.gif

Get a tow... I always liked that idea but I *think* it'd be lengthy and time-consuming to write coding-wise. Maybe something like: "Global Tow" - any vehicle left abandoned on paved roads longer than 1 hour (game-time) will be towed away. Considering there are tow trucks and frequent car accidents, it's kind of silly nobody comes to drag the wrecks away at some point.

Is it difficult (coding-wise) to spawn this ped: 'WMYMECH' at each gas station? Or is it different than spawning a vehicle or weapon etc.?

Agreed, that's why I said it's a good COMPANION to B2R and NOT something that should be included in this MOD. Although a link in the readme sounds cool! I've placed a link in my original post for anyone who would like to use it. I recommend it since it adds a bit more realism to the game and B2R mod.

Ohh, okay. Funny: changing his pee to what the firetruck shoots out. NM then. I'm still trying to find freeware that will allow me to edit the .dff files. LOL

Yup, which is why I thought maybe a slight change to that existing behavior would enhance it.

Okay, how about just placing a texture on the screen (a movie picture) that is not animated? EDIT POST: Blah, after looking into this - even the texture for the screen gets tiled so the answer is apparently no. confused.gif

 

MINOR BUGS:

 

1. While entering a gas-powered vehicle, the name of the vehicle disappears too quickly. (flashes on and disappears instantly) This happens when the gas gauge loads. BUT if I get out and get back into the vehicle before the gas gauge turns off, the vehicle's name will be displayed for the proper duration. Solution maybe? -> Is there anyway to tweak the code so that there's a slight delay before the gas gauge loads onscreen?

 

2. Whenever CJ picks up a prostitute and parks someplace private, she gets out immediately. The bouncing car animation doesn't occur at all.

 

Thanks I will try it to disable Grotti's... will definitely PM you if I need to! LOL Question: Randomly, during gameplay I will get a wanted star and onscreen text that says, "Hey Carl, don't play dirty!" What is causing that?
