Are these three the only real phone numbers mentioned in the game that can be called?

(1-866-505-2746)

Crimson Executive Wife Removal

1-866-FACEFEAR

(1-866-322-3332)

Inversion Therapy

1-866-FUNCULT

(1-866-386-2858)

If any more exist please post them.

Nope, didn't call them.

Don't even think I saw any. And if I did, I wrote them off right away without even considering calling them.

I have, they're very interesting. You don't see them either, you hear them on the radio.

Why would you say that? Those numbers are 100% real. They're basically the same thing you hear in the comercials. And all of them ask for a fax number at the end of the call. I don't have a fax here so I can't test if you really do get a fax or not though.

Aslo, Rockstar did similar things with websites in GTA3 and phone numbers in VC.

Wow, normally I'd say that these numbers are fake, but Rockstar does like to take things pretty far, like the webpages. So to find out I just googled "reverse number directory" clicked a link and typed them in.

1-866-505-CRIM

1-866-505-2746

Take Two

San Diego, CA 92101

(866) 505-2746

1-866-FACEFEAR

1-866-322-3332

Take Two

San Diego, CA 92101

(866) 322-3332

1-866-FUNCULT

1-866-386-2858

Take Two

San Diego, CA 92101

(866) 386-2858

Now what I'd really like to know is if these numbers lead to a regular Take Two Interactive business office, or if they have some sort of funny recording set up. I'm not calling California to find out though. Maybe if someone lives in that zip code they'd try it for us?

The numbers are not fake. They may be inaccessible from outside of North America though. But they are real numbers.

Apologies if this has been mentioned -- I searched the thread a couple of times and didn't find it, but I didn't actually read every post. wink.gif

Anyway, some of the phone numbers mentioned on radio commercials in the game actually do work in the United States. There are at least 3 such toll free numbers which play a recorded message and allow you to enter a phone number for a fax back. While I didn't go through the trouble of transcribing the recorded message, I did get the faxes.

Note 1: Sadly, the fax back from the Epsilon program was a duplicate of the one from Inversion Therapy, and I have no idea whom to contact about the error. I left the phone number in the post though in case anyone wants to call and listen to the message.

Note 2: Google reports that a TotalGames.net article contains partial transcripts of the messages, but the site was unreachable when I made this post.

@Mxy: I can keep these images around for a while, but if you happen to find them a more permanent home, I can come back and change the links.

That totalgames thing doesn't have any fax info, just a quore from the phone message you get:

1-866-FUNCULT 1-866-386-2858

Epsilon Program

"We've been waiting for your call. Everyone in the compound is so excited... we've been conducting surveillance on you for some time!" If you are looking to answer to life's questions then you've found the., "all it takes is money!" This one ends with, "To have an epsilon introductory kit faxed to you..." etc. Our reporter hung up on this one, but it rang back and the message repeated. Scary.

They may be inaccessible from outside of North America though. But they are real numbers.

I called there from Poland and there is phone message that says you have to dial your region number and then you get fax from them (or something like that). So the numbers are accessible from outside of North America.

if you live outside the US you have to put 00 like this 001-866-322-3332
