AngelRipper
Definitely upgrading RAM will help You. Drop Antialiasing to x2, and put Anisotropic Filtering to x2 or x4. And put them in your display properties, not in-game settings. zepman79
The reason it is lagging is because you are pushing your sys to hard. Most people find the breaking point for fps then back up one more notch so there is some play for heavy action times. I have XP3200+ 1.5gig PC3200 GeForce 6800 and I dont run at the settings you do. RAM will always help, but nothing amazing just a few fps probably. Lowering your settings a little will help. GTA3Freak-2001
RAM will always help increase performance so if you can then by all means get more. Although remember you'll need to check what your system can take in ragards to RAM ie. what speed, how many slots etc. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/199570-gta-sa-1024mb-ddr-ram/#findComment-2935297 Share on other sites

tommygun1
You will probably see the difference in most situations, but especially when there is a pile up on the freeway or something like that.. Kindo
Well, isn't the recommended RAM 384 or something? So at least matching that would help. Other than that, I've noticed most games are quite heavily relying on processor speed, these days. But yeah, you'd experience better performance if you upgrade your RAM that much.
