UserPlay Posted June 25, 2005 Share Posted June 25, 2005 Hi guys i bought GTA SA few days ago and framerate is badjavascript:emoticon('') smilie i'm playing gta on specs: intel pentium 4 2.41 ghz 256 ddr ram Nvidia GeForce 4 MX 440 with AGP8X using Xtreme G 77.13 HD drivers i have directx 9.0c i'm playing on 1024x768,frame limiter on,AA off,with draw distance below 1/4 and visual quality on low in some areas fps is good but the game is hashing(if you know what i mean you'll understand) Friend of mine has intel pentium 4 1.2 ghz 256 ram and same video card his gta sa is playing ok.I installed the game with his dvd. Please don't tell me "your video card is crap and you need more ram" because there are people with intel pentium 4 3.2 ghz, 1 gig of ram and radeon x800 and they have same performance as i do. sethj Posted June 26, 2005 Share Posted June 26, 2005 my sugestion download omega drivers and tweak it a bit. helped me, got 2xfps now and i have geforce2 mx400 i got the same video card, geforce 2 mx and i just ordered me a geforce 4 mx how do u tweak with the omega drivers though? GTA3Freak-2001 Posted June 26, 2005 Share Posted June 26, 2005 Well doesn't people with high specs having problems tell you that with specs like yours getting decent performance is going to be harder? @seth - You do relise the GeForce 4 MX ain't that much better then a GeForce 2 which is what you already have? GTA3Freak-2001 i understand that but my friend has same graphic card,same ram,and weaker processor and it works EXTREMELY SMOOTH. i tried omega 66.93,nvidia 45.23,nvidia 53.03, nvidia 76.41,and now i'm using xtreme g 77.13 hd and they're best please help or i will steal my friends computer. save me from crime.
