aad Posted June 25, 2005 Share Posted June 25, 2005 Im currently working in a team thats building a TC mod but the island that has been made is pre-lighted different then i can pre-light so my question is how i can i check what pre-lighting is used or what intensity was set. here is a screeny of what i mean my own island part is much lighter then the original part. I hope someone can help me Dont imitate, recreate or copy just get your own ideas. If your trying to get the original island to match your own, I would think raising the base cap would do it. Thats all I can really say. Dude if you dont know anything about modeling then dont respond with a useless post if you knew what i mean you would understand it. Its the object ligting that you use in 3dsmax not the ingame lighting all object are pre-lighted so they wont be dark at night ingame and if you look to the screeny it aint GTA SA. So next time let the profesionels respond. Maybe i was bit rude but i really want some answers about pre-lighting in 3dsmax or any other tools of trade. aad Posted June 26, 2005 Author Share Posted June 26, 2005 i know and i already know what i did wrong it was a small bug in my 3dsmax 3 it was mixing the vertex colors instead of directing them to my object.
