Smithdogg1
I have read about a glitch that causes your game save to become corrupt and un-usable if you save with a Barracks OL in your garage. Does anyone know if this is true or is it just a rumor? Because I want to get the bullet proof Barracks, but don’t want to risk my game save. Demarest
I have yet to see ANYTHING make a GTA3 save corrupt. I almost always save the BP Barracks from Arms Shortage so that I can later complete Ray's Marked Man. Sucks in terms of its size, but it sticks around. Smithdogg1
I have yet to see ANYTHING make a GTA3 save corrupt. I almost always save the BP Barracks from Arms Shortage so that I can later complete Ray's Marked Man. Sucks in terms of its size, but it sticks around. Good to hear but don’t you have the PC version? If there was a glitch it may have been corrected for the PC release. I originally read about this in IGN’s GTA3 FAQ it stated this "Do not save the game with a Barracks OS (Military Troop Transport) in your garage. This results in an inability to recover the game, and also prevent saving a Grand Theft Auto 3 game properly on that particular memory card again. You can try to save it in your hideout garage, but do so at your own risk." Then I was looking though a BP cars FAQ on gamefaqs and found this… "The Barracks OL glitch, which supposedly corrupted your game save if you put the truck in your garage, has been proven wrong, thanks to faithful reader Ivan Chich. Thanks, Ivan!" I would like to know how he disproved it but this rumor would not have started for no reason at all. BTW version 3 of the smart list is very cool, there are a few issues with it that I am sure you are aware of, one is that once an item has been checked off, it seems you can’t undo the change. Also if I may make a suggestion, I think it would be nicer if things were spaced out more, it seems a bit crammed and it sometimes hard to tell what is where. I am actually still using version 1, mostly because at 50% into the game, I am too lazy to check off everything I have done on the new one. But awesome job, I am sure it took a lot of work, but it is defiantly going in the right direction. BTW I forgot to ask you before are the rampage pages on your site not completed yet, or am I the only one who gets an error page when I try to access them? Demarest
Well I just went out and none of my local shops have it used for PS2 or else I would've picked it up just to test for you. Sounds as if you've already found your answer though As for smartlist: Yes, future versions will feature a selective undo feature. As for spacking, my goal is to get everything to display on one screen with no scrolling needed. I already have a few ideas on how to trim it down more. You're not the first to suggest spacing more. If I can figure out a way, then I will. But as it is, it would require recutting a lot of graphics. For example, the story missions have 202 images associated with them alone The Rampage pages... funny story. For whatever reason, if you're using Firefox, the URLs don't resolve properly. Try it in IE and everything works great. I never could figure out why. I'll give it another shot at renaming the files and stuff in a bit though to see if I can fix it. Hard to fix something you're not sure why it's broken in the first place though
Tril
That is a bullsh*t rumor... I'd kill whoever told you it...
Smithdogg1
It most defiantly is BS, I have had the BP barracks in my garage since arms shortage and I am now 100% done, my save file is fine.
