Today I get this error message when I try to play: "Original disc could not be found or authenticated." It is the exact same problem as this: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtop...0entry2889975 I have a legit copy of the game and do not have an HP dvd drive. dak0ta_g33k Posted July 9, 2005 Share Posted July 9, 2005 this happens quite often on both my comps. i just autoplay the drive in question and start the game up from the auto play window. i think this has something to do with the demoshield protection. i keep trying, up to about 3 times, and the game runs eventually.
