Game freezese when entering cars/buildings

The game freezes when i am entering cars or buildings, not always but enough to drive me insane because i can't play more then half an hour. i am using via chipset with onboard sound of course... i think this problem is in my soundcard so i have a question: which sound drivers should i use, and how to the unninstal previous one (no items in add/remove). Ahould i download those new from realtek? would they solve this problem?
