Ambulance Mission

Does any one have any tips on the ambulance missions in san andreas because i keep failing when i get to level 8 and it gives me the sh*ts. im always running out of time

The San Fierro hospital is easier to do the missions at, it would seem. The patients always spawn pretty close, I found myself finishing pretty easy, except for the one time I flipped it going down a hill.

If that doesn't work then do it in Angel Pine because the people don't spawn outside of that small patch of land so everything is so close to the hospital.

Hmm... thats odd. I find that I have plenty of time after I get past about level 4 or 5.

 

I did mine at the hospital in west LA because that area is mostly set up on a regular grid, so you don't get stuck with the flood control in the way or people up on a bridge or something making it hard to get to them. There are just a couple odd places they spawn but after you've seen them there once you can them then pretty quickly, like there is one spot down on the beach that you use some stairs to get to.

 

Angel Pine seemed to have more stuff in the way. More alleys to navigate, more offroad. But hey, if it works for you...

 

You are picking the patients up 3 at a time, aren't you? My advice is this: When a new level starts, stop and look at the map, which pauses the game. Plan out how you're going to get them 3-at-a-time before you even leave the hospital. So for level 8, pick up 3, drop them off, then 3 more, drop them off, then the last 2.

Oh, and use the siren, even though it gets annoying. Many drivers will get out of your way when you have the siren on. Not all of them. And a few will stop for you, but be in your way. But I think it helps you more than it hurts you.

On Level 11 it started to rain, I was really nervous because you know, I'm driving fast, it's slippery, the Ambulance truck is easier to roll over than smaller cars. So if it does rain, slow it down a bit, watch out for those turns.

I finished lvl 12 with 2+ min extra. U sure cant drive for sh*ts. I did Los Santos Ambulance Mission.... For the record!

Ambulance are easy to handle not like campers. Itd be fun if there was a camper mission!

Like with the previous GTA's, you have to swipe it with the lights on.

 

That way you get the siren when hitting the horn button, bots will move out of the way faster and

sooner.

 

Use the map, plan, get good with sliding early in front of a patient (2 seats in back, one in front) and watch them when they open the door the are "in", so you can shave seconds off your time.

 

At least the VC bug where the siren would give out hasn't happened.

 

If it helps (and is possible) use the burnout combo of fwd+back+left/right. Instead of turning around (3 point, or street). If the ambulance can do it, dunno for sure.

Yeah, and you wont have to use that siren because there isn't many vehicles. Also its near impossible to tip the ambulance because you could barely get enough speed to flip it.
