I completed the backwoods racing missions, and the mission where you race GTA3 man which is supposed to let you buy property in san fierro but I still cant. The house icons appear red on the map and whenever I go to buy them I get an error saying that I can not yet buy that property even though I have enough money (14 million. horse racing rocks tounge.gif ). Is there some way to edit the save file or somthing? I reinstalled and that didnt help either.

Anyone found a way to get round this yet? I'm in las venturas and can't buy property in either city.

It was unlocked when i opened the city up but then locked after a few missions.

Are there any cheats to unlock all property?

did u mean u cant buy that Wang car auto showroom? if so, then go finish the driving school(no need for all Gold, just pass all test), then some1 will call u he wants some car, and then u can buy that showroom and do some steal car missions.

I have complete the missions at the san fierro, and now I was on the mission at Las Venturas but until now I can't buy every house at the San Fierro it still appears icon red on the map even after all the missions are completed in the city. It's a bug or the file on my games were missing?

What version are you playing? I ordered a second edition pc copy, I didn't have any issues, or on the Android version...

If you have not modified your game beyond standard enhancements like the SilentPatch or Widescreen Fix then upload your save to GTASnP,com and I'll take a closer look at your data.

All I've been able to figure out so far is that your openup script has shut down. It'll take a while to track down all the variables associated with this script to determine why it stopped, how to keep it from stopping again, and how to setup a state to allow it to function normally again. So there's a chance your save can be repaired, but saves corrupted by mods are a pretty low priority.

Yeah..., probably. This is a fairly simple script that I know reasonably well. I just need to step through the code with the values in your variables to see what happened, and figure out the adjustments needed. I'm fairly confident I can fix the save, and pessimistic about finding the cause. In the meantime, I don't mind making you sweat it out. That's what you get for modding your game. You're supposed to suffer miserably when your save gets corrupted. It's an expected part of the modding culture.

Please visit the desert and LV and report the status of the properties. Ignore mission properties like Zero, Wangs and the airstrip. Also, which clothing stores have been unlocked?

Thanks for posting your mod list, it might help other players to identify a common glitchy mod. I'm not too worried about the cause. You should be though. If I can figure it all out I'll include a routine in a fix script that can report when openup gets terminated before Welcome Home is complete, or whichever mission unlocks Dieter Sachs.

Odd that the initial reports of this glitch are from 2005. I figure, mostly likely PS2. Maybe PC, but no cleo, and no one mentions any mods, like it's not even a thing to consider. And then nothing for 15 years; go figure.

Im the one who should thankyou! yeah i know.. thats why i wanna know too what thing/what mod could messed my game and what fix could be done

So i already visit desert and LV like you said, with my currently game progression still same (pier 69) so this is what i found, so safehouse from desert is green and safehouse from LV is still red, the clothing store still locked is zip (SF) and victim (from LV) isnt yet unlocked (even i already used enterable hidden interiors) but strangely didier sachs is unlocked, maybe bcs i've ever visit saint mark bistro through enterable hidden interiors (non mission just freeplay)

OpenFix.cs

Give this script a shot, see if it fixes your save. Install to the cleo folder and type "OPENFIX" to activate. I would expect SF properties to unlock right away and LV to open on schedule. However, I can't test the script on your save because it crashes my game every time I try to load it - probably something related to all your mods.

Your glitch is the expected result of tampering with the Cities Unlocked stat (181). I should probably include this fix with my CALLFIX script that repairs the phone calls in the early LS mission strand, another issue caused by unlocking the cities too soon.

Please provide some feedback about the effectiveness of this script. I couldn't test it, and it's really late so I'm a bit groggy. The script won't do anything if the OPENUP script is already running(not even a message). It'll refuse to work on any script not detected as v1 or v2 (w/message), but I'm expecting it to work on your v1 mission passer script. If it does the fix, it should display a message and play a sound.

I'm sure this is the fix to my problem since I'm using Cleo but I don't know how to run the script. Where do I type "OPENFIX" to activate the fix. This would be really helpful since I wouldn't have to restart. Pls respond.

Thank you for the feedback. I'll give some thought into how I can make my fix scripts easier to use.

Oh my god!! Thank you so much for this, I modded SA a few months back and had the same issue with safe houses not unlocking in San Fierro. Spent hours looking for a fix and finally gave up until today and then found this. Worked like a charm, thanks again!!
