Rogue
Would you be able to play SA with this controller? What I mean is being able to use 1 stick for driving and the other for moving the camera? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16826127204 or http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?ty...d=1082119508350 Right now I have single analog stick controller which is very hard to use when you have to use a mouse to look around at the same time. GTA3Freak-2001
Well to be honest its hard to say as I don't think anyone has sucessefully got the second analog stick working like the PS2 vesion had it. I've got a Logitech Wingman Rumplepad and I can't get my second stick working correctly.
Rogue
Ok then, I'll just stick with what I have then. thx One more thing, I have a throttle on my controller and there was this program for Vice City that let you use it for the gas. What was it called, and does it work for GTA3 or San Andreas? BTW, this is what I have now: http://www.smartshopper.com.cy/store/media/CSACIDJP-003.jpg Edited June 25, 2005 by Rogue
Kindo
I haven't gotten around to trying my controller yet, thinking the mouse + keyboard works fine enough. I'll use an official PS2 Dual Shock when I try it, though, and I'll report whether it works well or not.
gazzalodi
I have that Logitech Dual Action stick. The left analog works for controlling your movement. The right works for controlling camera position and can't be configured in game for anything else. It's not bad for on foot. That said, using it I went from not being able to do the "Circle Airport and Land" mission at all to getting 100% twice in one day (first time I forgot to save the game, crashed later and reloaded before I remembered). If you can't stop playing SA then it's definately a good to have just for the flying missions. I haven't tried driving with it yet. I've only had it one day and I'm still trying to max out everthing on flight school. Cheers.
jonathangr
dont buy a logitech dual action. it's pure crap. i had one and after some time of usage it gets permantly discalibrated. i've got a sony dualshock2 controller with a super dual box adapter and both stick and all buttons work flawlessly. you can even have force feedback using this great app.
