chrisw123 Posted June 24, 2005 Share Posted June 24, 2005 Sorry to be so clueless but I'm having a hard time figuring out what I'm supposed to do. Example, I own 3 properties in Los Santos, but I don't know if I should keep buying them in hopes that I'll be able to buy "bigger" or "more important" properties? Why should I buy them? Will this allow me to get to other cities? Currently I can't get to any of the other cities. Another example is, I'm up to "Gangster status" because I've been killing gang bangers by the dozens but how do I orgainize my own gang? I guess I'm not sure how to get to the "next level". Chunky Lee Chong Posted June 24, 2005 Share Posted June 24, 2005 Buying properties in Los Santos is just to have extra save houses so you don't have to keep travelling back to Grove Street and to increase your percentage. To unlock the other cities you have to progress in the story line. This has nothing to do with upping your status and killing other gangsters. And to organize your own gang you have to have enough respect. Once you have enough respect, you'll get the message that says, 'Respect Gained! You can now run a x man gang.' To run a gang, go up to one of your gang members (they wear green), target then and press up (if you're playing the PS2, you'll have to look in your manual for X-Box and PC controls). Sorry Off-topic: Chunky posted how to recruit members with PS2 controllers and Knightmare with PC controls. It made me wonder if maybe if there should be some kind of indication in like the Profile or somewhere where another user can see if another member is a PS2, Xbox, or PC user.
