BRUm
Right, I've made a "psycho bat" As shown in the mod release forum, however, the texture shows up as the default blank/grey/white one like this: Even when I imported a texure using TXD workshop and IMG, AND when I applied a pine texture in Z-Modeler: Nevertheless, it shows up as the first pic! Any ideas? Will be appreciated thanks.
Psycho_8_1
Did you keep the name of the texture the same as the orginal? If not that's your problem. You can either rename the name of the texture using vicetxd, (not sure about Txd workshop) and then put the txd back in the img file or go back in Zmod and reimport the texture with the name of the orginal, save, export, and put in img. Hope this helps, not confuse you Edited June 24, 2005 by Psycho_8_1
BRUm
Uhhh, I think I know what you mean, but yeah, I kept the .TXD file the same name "bat.TXD" Help? Edited June 24, 2005 by BRUm
Psycho_8_1
Sorry, I should have been a bit more clear on what I was talking about (I was in a hurry the last post). But no, I wasn't talking about the .txd file, I was talking about the .bmp or .tga file; which ever you used, guessing .bmp? I'll try to explain without being too confusing, I'm not very good with instructions I'll make it easy I'll use pictures. When your in zmod and have the material editor open and have Textured: bat_all.tga selected it should look like this: and when you click the button that says bat_all you should see this: Now if the button next to primary texture doesn't say bat_all, then thats your problem, which is what I think it is. Then you just have to simply rename the .bmp file you used in zmod to bat_all and replace it in zmod; basically make sure everything looks like they do in the above pictures. Then, you should be all set Hope this helps out more.
BRUm
Thanks for your time and effort mate, but something must be badly wrong, because I made backups of everything, so I put the original bat.txd and bat_all.bmp like it was before I modded, and the bat still is this bland colour
BRUm
WAIT! I love you man!! It works You was right, didn't keep texture same name Thanks Just one more problem .... the extension I put on my bat, I don't think its colliding with things, you know what I mean? Should I edit a collision file or something? Thanks again Edited June 25, 2005 by BRUm
